Over the weekend, the Washington Post ran a story about the Israeli Mossad and the CIA in a joint operation that killed a senior Hezbollah general, in 2008.

That was seven years ago. Why is this being leaked now?

Via Jerusalem Post: Yossi Mehlman — The hidden US message to Israel behind the leaked reports of the Mughniyeh assassination

It is hard to believe that the timing was coincidental.

Whoever leaked the details of the 2008 joint Mossad-CIA assassination of Hezbollah operational chief Imad Mughniyeh to two US publications, and certainly a newspaper like The Washington Post (the second was Newsweek), did not do so capriciously.

Most likely, someone wanted to send the following message to the people of Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: You need us.

Look at the extent of the cooperation between our intelligence communities, which risks being damaged due to the discordant policies of your prime minister….

If Mehlman is correct in his assessment, then the Obama Regime is even more craven and despicable than we thought:

Obama is steaming about Netanyahu’s acceptance of Boehner’s invitation to speak to Congress, leaving him out of the loop.

Perhaps this is what Team Obama meant when they warned, as reported in the NY Post:

“He spat in our face publicly and that’s no way to behave,” a senior American official said.

“Netanyahu ought to remember that President Obama has a year and a half left to his presidency, and that there will be a price.”

Two weeks ago, Israel attacked a Hezbollah convoy, killing several, including an Iranian general.

And last week, in retaliation, two Israeli soldiers were killed.

Now, news of the Mossad’s involvement in the killing of a leader of Hezbollah can only serve to inflame an already volatile situation.

But no worries, Obama needs to take revenge for feeling snubbed.

Obama won two elections by having confidential court records unsealed. He now is the international ‘court’ and he’s unsealing records. Campaign leak til your opponent drops.

Obama being a jerk, it’s what he does. I am concerned about his stare at Bibi in this pic, though. Looks like he’s trying to melt Bibi’s head off with his x-ray vision. #Jerk

Boehner said on a Sunday morning talk show that they had communicated with the WH prior to sending out the invitation. No push back from Obama admin, sent message to Boehner it was good to go Now this brew-ha-ha between obama, boehner and Netanyahu. Who is to trust this govt anymore?

It looks like business as usual for this sociopathic madman who only seems to get more dangerous by the day. We, the people of the United States and our loyal allies around the world, will be very lucky if we all survive the next two years of this maniacal, vengeful, chip-on-his-shoulder, small minded, little tiny boy, who likes to believe that he is better than everyone else! The first day of 2017 that I can wake up in the morning and know that this jerk has no control over my life will be the first day in eight years that I can wake up with a smile on my face and a reason to get out of bed. Just like sobriety, I keep telling myself, “One day at a time, this too shall pass”…

If that was true, then they have no conception of what goes around comes around.
