I’m not sure if David Brooks, The New York Times’s phony conservative, is cracked in the head.
Or maybe he’s just on crack.
What does Brooks call Benghazi, Fast and Furious, hacking of AP telephone records, abuses by the IRS, EPA, and HHS, Obamacare, Solyndra, Bowe Bergdahl, VA abuses, Illegal Immigration, etc. etc. ?

And I have my disagreements, say, with President Obama, but President Obama has run an amazingly scandal-free administration, not only he himself, but the people around him. He’s chosen people who have been pretty scandal-free.
And so there are people in Washington who do set a standard of integrity, who do seem to attract people of quality. And I think that’s probably true of the current group. I hope it’s true of the current leadership group in Congress. But — so they’re not all involved in scandal.

I suppose for the Brooks, it depends on what the meaning of ‘scandal’ is…
Once again, here’s someone in the media that is so completely out of touch with reality they need a mental health professional.(see Whoopie Goldberg, Alan Colmes, et al). In my opinion.

At this point in the administration, “journalists” like this have no choice but to play out their drooling subservience to the end.
Their truth is so laden with lies that it’s laughable.
Lovely tea party the three of them are having. No opposing views in sight.. But then what would one expect – the usual suspects are employees of the Federal Government.
Except for “NewsHour”, the chyron heading is perfect; PBS NewsHour, Shields and Brooks ==> PBS Shields (its leftist idols) and Brooks (no contrary opinion).
