Former Gov. Mike Huckabee likened the agreement on an Iranian nuclear deal to “marching the Israelis to the door of the oven,” a reference to the Holocaust.

Sounds about right to me.

However, the Dems are losing their lunches over his comments.

POTUS:

….Obama, asked about the comments at a news conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, said they were part of a pattern of attacks by 2016 Republican presidential candidates that would be “considered ridiculous if it weren’t so sad.”

Such issues as the Iran nuclear deal deserve serious debate, not outlandish statements, he said….

Obama also singled out Ted Cruz, a Texas senator running for the GOP nomination, for suggesting in the wake of the nuclear deal that Obama — not Iran — is the leading state sponsor of terrorism.

“These are leaders in the Republican Party,” Obama said incredulously.

On Saturday, former Arkansas governor and 2016 presidential candidate Mike Huckabee…blasted President Obama’s Iran deal in brutal language.

Calling Obama’s foreign policy “the most feckless in American history,” he added: “It is so naive that he would trust the Iranians. By doing so, he will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven. This is the most idiotic thing, this Iran deal. It should be rejected by both Democrats and Republicans in Congress and by the American people. I read the whole deal. We gave away the whole store. It’s got to be stopped.”

Unsurprisingly, the leftist Anti-Defamation League… questions the Iran deal, but as a pro-Democrat organization, continues to maintain that President Obama is pro-Israel despite zero evidence to that effect.

So, were Huckabee’s comments “appropriate”?

Of course they were. They were also factually correct….

And when it comes to this Iran deal, it is the height of hypocrisy for President Obama to complain about overheated language. He has routinely stated that the only alternative to his disastrous surrender is war, presumably of the nuclear variety….

And Huckabee is right. He didn’t say that Obama is forcibly shoving Jews into ovens. He said that the Obama administration has brought the Israelis to the brink of a second Holocaust, that the Obama administration is complicit in the Iranian desire to achieve that second Holocaust….

We the Citizens crave someone in leadership that stands up to the left and FOR their views. I don’t particularly like Huckabee, but respect is owed for his courage on this..

The truth is a horrible inconvenience to the liberal left, so it has to be ridiculed and condemned at all costs.

FDR didn’t destroy the rail lines to the Death Camps and got criticized for it. Just imagine if he’d built them.

Haven’t heard any critic make a decent argument as to why that assessment is wrong. Their reaction so far seems to reinforce it.

Well the shameless admin. never fails to be juvenile; WH spokesjoker Josh Earnest at press conf. on Thurs. referred to Sen. Tom Cotton, as Tom Cotton the Republican International Man of Mystery, because WH says that he didn’t need to go to Vienna Austria to find out about the side agreements. I don’t believe the WH on that but regardless, trying to compare Tom Cotton to Austin Powers as if nuclear non-proliferation is a spy sex comedy is not Groovy Baby. Upside down PC world. The WH makes that comparison but a radio talker can’t play Shaft.
