Boy Throwing Book

Anti-gun insanity hits a new low.

And no, this is not from the satirical review The Onion.

Via Breitbart:

A father is outraged after learning that an “active shooter protocol” at his children’s school, Stevenson Elementary in Heath, Ohio, includes encouraging his eight-year-old son to throw books at the gunman.

According to Fox 28, Dean Spencer says his nine-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son “were told by school teachers to throw books at anyone with a gun should they ever make their way into their library or classroom.” Spencer said he did not believe the story at first, but after listening to details from his daughter for a second time, he was simply shocked. He said, “To give them advice or commands to throw things at someone with a gun it’s absurd, it’s insane.”….

I’m outraged! At him? At the gunman?
It’s cruel and insensitive to assume gender identity on a prospective shooter. Per the University of TN, the correct term would be “throw the book at Ze or Xe”. Perhaps creating a “Safe Place” for mass murderers in the schools would also be helpful.

I’d get a video camera, go to the principal and ask confirmation that throwing the Koran was encouraged by this guideline.

OMG, how irresponsible of the school to teach the students to commit such a micro-aggression as throwing a book. It should be obvious that the most effective response is to step forward and assume the “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” stance….. unless of course it’s a police officer and then it IS imperative to throw a book (Holy Bibles tend to carry a lot of heft) or any other object at the cops.

This is actually good advice, but you’ve got to throw it like a man and not like a…well, you know.
