If only Liberals could think through their hair-brained ideas before messing things up.

But then, if they were actually able to think analytically, they would be…Conservatives.

Via Right Scoop:

Nothing makes me happier than to see liberals having to have their own policies shoved back in their soy-eating, clove-smoking, soul-patch-wearing smug faces. And that’s exactly what is happening in liberal San Francisco where a minimum wage hike first closed down a bunch of restaurants, and is now encouraging an innovation in self-automated restaurants!

Thanks for the reference to the Horn and Hardart Automat. My parents took me to Philly when I was a kid and we ate at one of those. The thrill of putting your money in the slot and getting food from behind a little door was indescribable. It’s memory that has always stuck with me. Well done, Ms. Shifra.

I have a few similar ancient H&H memories from visits to NYC. I found the wall of coin-activated machinery absolutely fascinating. Truly one of the magic visions of childhood.

The closing down of businesses may well be the intention of the Left. Still, the unemployed workers are yet alive, and that would not make the Left happy.

Liberals are playing up this issue big, regardless of how much it hurts people. Sunday’s edition of The Guardian has an economics column on, wait for it, wage stagnation started with Bush. It’s Bush’s Fault!!! http://www.theguardian.com/business/economics-blog/2015/sep/06/america-decline-in-wages-can-be-traced-from-the-george-w-bush-era

Now, I’m not defending Bush’s economic policies, they were bad. But the, it started with Bush scenario, trying to displace blame from Obama & Democrats (eg, the economic mess that was left to Obama was so bad that it couldn’t be fixed by now, don’t blame Democrats) is dangerous nonsense. Republicans have to address head-on and not just say, cut taxes. If not addressed head-on, Dems can just yell trickle-down economics and watch Repubs run to surrender.

The word to describe this is “lugubrious.” To feel happiness and sadness at the same time over a single event. Like seeing the thieves who just stole my car driving it over a 500-foot-cliff is lugubrious. Hope it continues to happen – feel sorry for the low-info slobs who now must take it in the ear for their insouciance. While they lick their wounds, maybe they can contemplate their new “freebie,” Obama “Care.” Just wait, guys. Here it comes!

Doesn’t matter. All that matters is liberals feeel good about what they’ve done.
