On the plane to DC the Pope stated to the journalists, “I am not a leftist,Communism is evil.” He is speaking to the greed of the people who have it in their power to change the circumstances of the poor. As for the Catholic Church and its money,no other institution has as many charities all over the world.

I was raised a Catholic in Chicago during the 60’s. As Tammy has often said ” I believe but I don’t believe in organized religion”. Why? Early in my school years I saw those that had means were favored received special treatment and the rules of the Church didn’t apply. Later in life i saw the Ted Kennedy receive an annulment after years of marriage from the Vatican. I started to read about the relationship of Cardinal Bernadine (Chicago) and his relationship with Saul Alynsky. If you Bing these two its very interesting reading. Finally there is connection between the Chicago Catholic Dynasty, Acorn and Obama.

During my adulthood I experienced a trusted family priest convicted of child molestation.

Now we have a socialist Pope preaching to us about climate change. immigration and social justice. I was hoping for a calm message of faith and hope from this Pope and not a solidarity with Obama’s far left ideology.

I think being raised in Chicago is demoralizing enough. But I didn’t think about how demoralizing it is to be Catholic and realize this stuff is going on. I became a Pope watcher many years ago — especially with the Internet. They are fascinating men and are important in how they affect this world. Normally, they aren’t foolish men (say, an ordinary liberal) and I’m not convinced he’s a foolish man, either — this implies something more sinister. I don’t really want to think like this, but leftism has corrupted so much.

Judge them by their actions, not what they say. I agree, if it walks like a duck!

    Tammy tweeted:

Liar. "Obama to Pope: ‘We Stand With You In Defense Of Religious Freedom’ "

To be fair, I think Obama spoke the truth here, in that neither he nor Francis are standing up for religious freedom; in that sense Obama really does stand with Francis on defending religious freedom.

So, Maynard, Parsing POSUS has learned a new talent. He’s known a few experts in his short time while trying to destroy the Constitution. I appreciate the clarification. It makes perect sense now.
