A Russian jet violated Turkish airspace over the weekend. It left after being intercepted by Turkish F-16s. The Russian Defense Ministry said there was nothing nefarious going on.

“This current incident is a result of bad weather conditions in this region,” spokesman Igor Konashenkov told reporters. “You shouldn’t look for conspiracy theories.”

At first the Russians said it was a navigational error. John Kerry expressed concern saying it was the kind of thing that could have resulted in Turkey shooting down the Russian jet.

Obama is looking for rainbows.

    So I am to believe Russian aviation navigation is so poor they can’t tell where on the planet they are? BS. Testing the boundries is more accurate.
