Obama recently berated those who oppose allowing Syrian refugees entry to the US.
“That’s shameful. That’s not American. That’s not who we are,” said our Incompetent-in-Chief.
No, Barry, the real “shameful, not American, not who we are” thing is: having you in the WH.
The State Department said Tuesday that it believes state governors have little say over whether they will house refugees from Syria or anywhere else in the world, and that once they arrive, refugees can choose to live in any state they want.
“They can ultimately choose wherever they want to go,” State Department spokesman Mark Toner told reporters.
The question of refugee rights has come up as many governors have said they would refuse people from Syria, over fears that members of the Islamic State may try to slip in posing as refugees. One of the Paris attackers entered France that way.
The Obama administration has said it would make no changes to its plan to take up to 10,000 Syrian refugees this year. Toner said under current law, any refugee who land in the U.S. is “protected by the Constitution and federal law.”
….Legal experts have said they agree that there’s little states can do to stop the federal government from placing refugees in their states, even if they disagree….

Saudi Arabia isn’t accepting any of the ‘refugees’. Will Obama denounce SA because it won’t accept orphans? Little Orphan Ahmed Lives Matter. Catchy. Dog’s name is Sandy, appropriate for the Middle East. Step up SA.
Regardless of the merits and demerits of the actual argument, this highlights the general problem that the American government has entirely detached itself from the American people. One man pronounces a thing and, when the people’s representatives stand in opposition, another man in a robe (who was put there by the first man) declares the first man prevails. That’s how the rule of law works in the mind of Obama and his ilk. We have lost our republic.
The appeal of Donald Trump is that, although he may be just another acolyte of monster government, there’s a sense that Trump’s monster government will at least act slightly more in harmony with the heartland. This approach may be our best-case scenario, and that’s a tragic shame.
Yes, although he didn’t convince me he is the one, Trump employed the “trick” of telling the truth about immigration plus he is boisterously pro-American.
In the Westgate mall attack in Obama’s home country of Kenya…
If terrorists get to vet their victims, is it too much to ask that we vet the terrorists? Then again, if anyone had bothered to vet our POTUS, we wouldn’t be in this mess.
By way of contrast, recall how aggressive the Clinton Administration was in deporting this dangerous refugee.
Heh, wicked!
Map of the 2016 Republican Sweep (incompletely drawn)?
Like a tube of toothpaste, we are slowly squeezing the “refugees” into the perennial liberal bastions of ignorance (NE corridor and the soon-to-be desert west. With the addition of Wyoming and N. Dakota, the count now stands at 32 states refusing to allow Syrians to settle inside their borders.
Here’s another commentary about this issue; it’s a matter of Federal Law.

Munchausen-by-Proxy liberals of this benighted nation are single-mindedly intent on destroying their own homeland (that’d be our homeland, too) because they feel guilty for everything evil in the whole of the known universe. They are a perverse, perverted, dangerous lot.
