He’s right, of course.

Sen. Ted Cruz says “there is nothing compassionate” about illegal immigration, and Republicans can still compete while being “unambiguously against amnesty.”

TED CRUZ: I think we need to solve this problem one step at a time, you don’t have to solve everything all at once, that is the fallacy of “comprehensive reform.”

We need to start with actually securing the borders. One of the nice things is, existing federal law is quite robust, if you look at federal law, it is federal law today that there should be 700 miles of double-layer fencing built along our southern border

The Obama administration has about 30 miles built. If I am elected president, we will build it. What is missing is the presidential will to get it done.

He’s still in my Top Three, and it’s hard not to see him as Number One. I think he’s the brightest gem in the drawer.

From quick Web search; Approx. 6,500 miles of interstate highway are built every year. Doesn’t include non-interstate, railway, subway, or plane tarmac.

For all the Marco Rubio supporters?

Here’s the real lowdown on the ‘Gang of Eight’. And Cruz ought to know, he was right there in the U.S.Senate witness to the entire debacle:

Another follow up to this story. Rubio was used by the establishment Dems/Socialists and RINOs to put a ‘young face’ on this issue. Now Cruz, using the actual written Senate bill, has painted Little Marco into a corner.
