Kerry poke eye

Two days after the Brussels airport attacks a security guard at a Belgian nuclear plant was murdered and his pass stolen. It’s been reported the original target was a nuclear site but the terrorist plans were changed after some arrests were made.

Belgian nuclear guard shot and security access badge stolen, according to media reports

Two days after bomb attacks at Brussels airport and on a packed metro killed 31 people and injured hundreds, a security guard who worked at a Belgian nuclear plant was murdered and his pass was stolen, Belgian media reported on Saturday.

The French language Derniere Heure newspaper reported the security guard’s badge was de-activated as soon as it was discovered he had been shot dead in the Charleroi region of Belgium and his badge stolen.

Late last year, investigators found a video tracking the movements of a man linked to the country’s nuclear industry during a search of a flat as part of investigations into the Islamist militant attack on Paris on November 13 that killed 130 people.

But this is all good news according to Kerry.

John Kerry insists U.S. is “winning” ISIS fight despite Brussels attacks

“Because we are winning,” Kerry told Duthiers, who anchors on CBSN. “The fact that you can strike by sending a couple of would-be suicidal people into an airport to blow up a bomb does not indicate that they’re winning. It means they’ve just struck a horrible blow and been willing to take lives with them.”

Kerry, who landed in Brussels Friday morning, argued that these bombings are done out of desperation because ISIS is losing significant ground in their strongholds.

Cheers.
