comey

As we expected. More as it becomes available. In his statement, Dir. Comey said she handled classified with gross negiligence (without criminal intent) which is a felony. Much of the conversation now is the surprise, after Comey laid out the details, that he *didn’t* announce a referral for charges. I thought the favor would be misdemeanor charges against Hillary instead of felony charges.

Bottom line: There is no Rule of Law for the ruling class. It’s that simple. From Christian Whiton on Fox: “This is a fundamentally corrupt decision.”

Via Fox News.

FBI Director James Comey announced Tuesday he will not recommend the Department of Justice seek criminal charges against Hillary Clinton for her personal email use while secretary of state.

The decision helps remove what was arguably the biggest threat to her presidential campaign going forward – a criminal referral that could have led to an indictment – just weeks before her party’s national convention in Philadelphia where she is set to seal her nomination as the Democrat standard bearer.

Clinton consistently had downplayed the FBI investigation, even calling it a “security review,” and as recently as June 3 said there was “absolutely no possibility” she’d be indicted. Weeks ago, a scathing State Department inspector general report directly countered her long-running claim that her personal email use was allowed, though her campaign continued to defend the candidate’s actions.

In the wake of that report, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump stepped up his criticism of her email actions and said she belongs in “jail.”

The DOJ decision does not strip the email controversy as a campaign issue – Trump and the Republicans are sure to keep hammering it as the campaign lurches into full general election mode post-conventions – but shows the federal investigation did not determine the actions to be criminal, even if they were ill-advised and potentially damaging to national security.

The decision comes more than a year after knowledge of Clinton’s use of a personal email and server first became public. Clinton responded at the time with a point-by-point written explanation and a press conference in which she said she had opted to use her personal server for “convenience.”

Decisions like this are why people walk away and refuse to vote, thinking: “What difference does it make?” Everything and everyone in the system is corrupt. I’m so mad, I could burst!
And yet, I know the enemy wants me to walk away and retreat, thinking that it won’t ever change and there’s nothing I can do about it. Well, I’m a TAM and a Palinista, I know better. Retreating is NOT an option. We have to win.

The FIX was in … everyone in DC knew it , Washtington “COM” Post announced it yesterday , so no surprise.

As I said in my tweet yesterday and Tammy noted in her weekend update (Thank you Tammy for the shout out) … “Trump Now, Cruz Later”

We cannot allow this evil woman or the Democrats take the Whitehouse
If she does, then “AmeriKa Kaput” ….

Freedom is on the line, folks

    Again, “Trump Now, Cruz Later”

Crooked Hillary skates again. What else is new. I still think that in the long run, thing is going going to bite her in her fat ass. Sooner or later karma is going to get the Clinton crime family.

Even if I were a Democrat I would not vote for Hillary, just because I would be worn out by the Clintons and their shenanigans.

Come, come! Comey was only following Orders…

In his first administration, it was Czar Obama. Now, it’s El Comandante. If he heads up the UN, will it be Chairman or Ruler for Life?

Most cloaked and corrupt American politicians ever. Make America Lawful Again.

It’s interesting that they didn’t even bother to try to run with the fig leaf of a misdemeanor; instead they boldly assert that no law was broken. This makes practical sense: In politics, the Big Lie has more traction than the little lie. But it also adds to the polarization of America, with half the country rushing to scream their blind support, and the other half looking on in horror at the naked criminal corruption that has come to thoroughly permeate our government. If the FBI and Justice had gone with the little lie, we’d all be united in some acknowledgement of wrongdoing, and we’d only be discussing the degree or import. But now, we’ll simply be at each other’s throats. Very good for the Clintons, but very, very bad for the republic. How far we’ve fallen.

…and Edward Snowden is Public Enemy #1…? Sheesh!
There’s no way in Hades he could get a fair trial if he were to return…unless the FBI got involved.

    From Taranto’s column today:

After announcing his no-charge recommendation, Comey added:

To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.

In other words, laws are for little people.

That is indeed the bottom line.

Was this actually a surprise? My gut feeling is that Comey, Lynch, and the Clintons were negotiating the price when Her Royal Clinton was being “interviewed”. Time to fire the entire FBI and pocket the savings.

In my profession ( Reg. Nurse ) . “Gross Negligence” equals loss of license to practice at minimim . If harm came it would be a lawsuit & could be jail ! It is not unreasonable to expect anything less of the leaders of this country who are entrusted with the safety of this country & the public trust ! Today’s announcement that the Secty of State and; her associates will suffer no consequence is unacceptable . To add insult to injury she marches out smuggly with the POTUS at her side like she had been annointed Queen ! It is a sorrowful day that this hapoens to the people who have given so much & sacrificed in service or just lived a law abiding life and paid their taxes at minimum . People better wake up . This country is in serious trouble ! Whether you like his looks, the way he talks or defies political correctness . Mr Trump IS the clear answer ! Lets not allow him to stand alone . Please #VoteTrump !!

Christopher Hitchens once said that “No one should run for President for
therapeutic reasons.” Hillary won’t be satisfied till she feels that Oval Office desk chair under her butt & she’ll do anything to get it & keep it and the rest
    of the world be damned.

Once again, Obama sends out Hillary with a reset button. In November, we get to reply, You got it wrong.

Thinking about Tammy’s observation on politicians not having served in the military; Used to be, Loose Lips Sink Ships, now Loose Lips What Difference Does It Make.

Also, Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition seems now to be Push Down the Lord and Outlaw the Ammunition.

May be larger consequences from non-military service.

Although I’m not surprised at the outcome, I have never seen a prosecutor laying out a case against someone, with at least 100 counts of the suspect violating the law, and at the end saying that no “reasonable” prosecutor would file charges because the suspect didn’t intend to break the law.

Next time I get caught speeding, I’ll tell the officer I never intended to break the speed limit. No reasonable policeman will give me a ticket.

  18. hektor says:

All the talk radio pundits – like Hugh Hewitt – who repeated over and over about how Hillary was doomed based on her “crimes.” Not to mention his primary predictions which were wrong. There is another guy – Michael Medved who said he would not vote for Trump should he win the nomination. I am tired of all these people. I HAVE to vote for trump, regardless of the media attacks. Hillary has the fix in indeed.
