I’ve taken a wait-and-see attitude about our new UN ambassador Nikki Haley, and I like this very much. So far, so good.
Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the UN, spoke at the UN headquarters for the first time, stating to “those who don’t have our backs: We’re taking names.”
“Our goal with the administration is to show value at the UN, and the way to show value is to show our strength, show our full voice. Have the backs of our allies and make sure our allies have our backs as well.”
She’s making a list, and checking it twice…
Helpful hint; There already is a list, the UN Human Rights Commission.
The main intention of her announcement being to take ownership of the position and, to verbalize an enactment of positive change for the U.S. And, by the way, U.N. FYI, we mean business!
Love it.
This is a refreshing change.
As far as I’m concerned every nation that voted for the most recent Anti-Israel U.N. resolution should be on the list, and that includes the ‘special relationship’ nation of the United Kingdom. Remember—They could have, at the least, abstained also, but did not.
