Trump Derangement Syndrome at its funniest… and most deranged. Stick to your day-job John, where you are safer simply repeating what other people have written.

Hollywood actor John Cho says the forced removal of a United Airlines passenger that captured national headlines is the fault of President Trump.
“Sulu” from “Star Trek Beyond” told fans on Monday that United Flight 3411’s bloody ordeal for one passenger could be traced to the 45th U.S. commander in chief. Chicago Department of Aviation police removed a doctor who was picked randomly when seats were needed for additional flight crew headed to Louisville, Kentucky.

Videos uploaded to social media Monday showed an unnamed individual screaming just moments before he was dragged down an aisle. Other cellphone videos included him returning to the flight while saying, “I have to get home.”

“It’s hard not to see a connection between the environment Trump has created and what happened on that @united flight,” Mr. Cho wrote.
Twitter followers seemed confused by the “connection” the Hollywood star was making.

“What on EARTH are you talking about?” asked Washington DC sports-radio host Chad Dukes.

    Oh brother, another lefty Sulu.

    United has become Jet-BlackandBlue.

I think the Zucker brothers and Jim Abrahams have enough material for a good Airplane sequel!

    What a PR disaster!

I was all set to upgrade to United Business First coming back from 6 week trip Bahrain one time. They said all seat full. There may have been 25 passengers on plane from Bahrain to Kuwait. We had to get off to service the plane. Then when about to re-board plane A whole bunch of Flight crew showed up and boarded first. They were in Uniform, then after a long wait, we were allowed to board. We get on and find that the entire Business 1st section was full of these flight crew people, only now they’re in civilian clothes. There was some that overflowed in to Econ plus as well. After returning from the trip out there, I was not in the mood for this. So I went online to United site and torn their butts up on a feed back about that flight. They gave me 25K miles on my frequent flier miles. I used them on the next trip out and back. So much nicer flying Busine 1st. Seat lay out flat in to a bed, and you get real food on real plates with real flatware, and all you can drink. I don’t drink on a flight.

If you don’t want to fly United anymore but you are a United frequent flyer, you can ask for a status match with competing airlines. Most airlines match your status after completing a challenge. Read about it here. My sense is that with this debacle, airlines would be more than accommodating.

Fight Club? No, this is more like Indiana Jones. Anyone that doubts me has forgotten this.

I blame William Shatner. If Terror at 30,000 ft was The Twilight Zone, what zone is this? The Unfriendly Zone?

I think David French has written the ultimate summary of the event, and it observes that all players have behaved badly: “United 3411 and the Flight from Reason”. This incident is something of a microcosm of all the social/cultural dysfunction that has become pervasive.
