Yes…ESPN has lost tens of thousands of viewers and subscribers over the past 5 years due to their liberal shenanigans. But this one takes the cake. They have dropped an announcer from the upcoming Virginia-William and Mary football game because his name may offend some snowflake viewers. His name is Robert Lee. Never mind that, unlike his namesake of Civil War prominence, the modern day person is of Asian descent. You cannot make this stuff up.
ESPN has drop-kicked one of its college football broadcasters from the Virginia vs. William & Mary game, on Sept. 2, for no reason other than his name is “Robert Lee.” This is no joke. ESPN really is that sensitive and that PC. That childish, too, for that matter.
The 21st century Robert Lee was born of Asian descent. But that name is just too confederate, just too racist-sounding. Someone surely might be offended by hearing the Lee name in the state of Virginia….
Outkick the Coverage’s Clay Travis bemoans this ESPN idiocy and writes “God save us all.” He also posted photos of the Asian Robert Lee and the confederate general and informed readers that they are not the same person, just in case there was any confusion….

This “Robert Lee” is of Asian ethnicity. Which just goes to show that ESPN is too dumb to know the difference between alt-Right and Wong.

I can’t claim credit for this, but some clever boy proposed the appropriate solution would be for ESPN to change the guy’s name from Robert Lee to Lobert Ree.

In other college SJW news; The item re a flyer at U. of Colorado, Colorado Springs, that wants Veterans banned from college. Interesting lack of knowledge of history behind that statement. The GI Bill sent droves of Vets to college following WWII. Results were liked so much that Congress decided to create loans for non-Vets. While I give the college administration credit for rejecting this, I might take a different tack and propose ending non-Vet student loans. Why subsidize someone who demands safe spaces and is against free speech?
