In early reports, this “journalist” also admits that he helped suppress the photo which, he says, “absolutely would have made a difference” in the 2008 presidential race. This is the kind of collusion and lies by omission the American people have been subjected to by the establishment and their media lapdogs for who knows how long. And yet the swamp wonders why we put Trump in the White House.

Photojournalist Askia Muhammad released a photo this week showing former President Barack Obama and the controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan from Obama’s years as a state senator — and the photographer revealed Thursday that the Congressional Black Caucus had pressured him for more than a decade to keep it hidden.

Muhammad told the Trice Edney News Wire last week that he believed that the image “absolutely would have made a difference” in the 2008 presidential campaign had it been made public.

The image taken in 2005 at a Congressional Black Caucus meeting on Capitol Hill showed then-Senator Obama, a young Democrat from Illinois, smiling side-by-side with Farrakhan.

Muhammad told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that the same day he snapped the photo, the CBC contacted him.

“A staff member from the black caucus called me and said ‘we have to have the picture back,’ and I was kind of taken aback. And we talked a couple of times on the phone after that, and I said ‘Okay, I will give the picture back to Minister Farrakhan’s chief of staff,’” he said on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

He added that after he gave the original copy to Farrakhan’s staff, he kept his own copy but remained quiet.

“I gave the original disk to him and in a sense swore myself to secrecy because I had quietly made a copy for myself,” Muhammad said. “It’s my picture, it’s my art, and it’s my intellectual property. I owned it and I wanted to keep it.”

He said the CBC called him while he was still on Capitol Hill and he believed that it was because “they sensed the future.”

“Minister Farrakhan and his reputation would hurt someone trying to win acceptance in the broad cross-section,” he said, referring to the possibility at the time that the young senator was being considered for a presidential run.

Muhammad also said that Obama had, at some point, people from the Nation of Islam working on his staff and in his offices.

Also from Breitbart:

A photograph of then-Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) and Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan that was taken in 2005 at a meeting of the Congressional Black Caucus in Washington, DC, was released Saturday after a 13-year cover-up to protect Obama’s political career.
Journalist Askia Muhammad told that he took the photograph after Obama had engaged “in a warm conversation with constituent and fellow Chicagoan Minister Louis Farrakhan.” However, he realized that the photograph could endanger Obama’s presidential ambitions, which were already being widely discussed.

Farrakhan is a black supremacist and antisemite who also holds anti-gay views. Rumors of an association between Obama and Farrakhan circulated during the 2008 presidential campaign in the wake of revelations about Obama’s decades-long membership in the Trinity United Church of Christ, led by the racist preacher Jeremiah Wright.

Those rumors could not be substantiated, however — and the story of Muhammad’s long-hidden photograph explains why.

Asia told that he was confronted by a member of the Congressional Black Caucus about the photograph, and that he eventually surrendered it to Farrakhan’s chief of staff. He secretly kept a copy of the image for himself, but he never told anyone and never released the image, for fear of burglary or retaliation against him, he told the left-wing Talking Points Memo website.

He told that he believed the photograph would have destroyed Obama’s electoral chances.

Not to make excuses, but the photographer depends upon being invited to events, and if he develops a reputation for thwarting the requests of his hosts, those invitations will dry up. It’s not a decision anyone with a career to maintain would make lightly.

I’m curious whether it was only the Obama photograph that was suppressed, or did they cover up all photos of Farrakhan? Because in 2005 Obama was a nobody, but the huge scandal that jumps out at me is a monster like Farrakhan palling around as a guest of the CBC. This would be like the Freedom Caucus inviting the Grand Kleagle to the Capitol for tea. Why wasn’t/isn’t this considered a headline-worthy disgrace?

Obama met with Rashid Khalidi in 2003. If the 2005 photo got out then a pattern would have been established.

I’m pretty certain we’ve seen that picture of Obama, with Farrakhan and the rest of that party removed from it.
