This is why we need to be very active in making sure the Democrats don’t get another chance, after eight disastrous years of Obama, to turn the US economy back into a dumpster fire. And since Nancy Pelosi has an net worth of over $43M, she doesn’t much use for “crumbs.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) on Wednesday said Democrats would seek to enact a “comprehensive” tax reform plan if they took Congress back from Republicans.

Pelosi said at a town hall that the tax code needs to be completely reformed after Republicans passed their legislation last year, in a clip posted at NTK Network. She was asked whether Democrats would seek to change specific elements of Republicans’ tax law or start from scratch if they won back Congress, and she said they would take a comprehensive approach.

Trump’s instinct of calling for a ‘middle class tax cut’ will help make this Pelosi idea thud. GOPe wanted ‘Comprehensive Tax Reform’ to include lowering the highest personal tax rate more than the 39.4 to 37%. Now, Pelosi wants Comprehensive Tax Reform to raise our taxes! Doubt that the lowering of corporate tax rate from 35 to 21% will bother voters like a significant reduction in highest personal tax rate would have.

Trump’s communication instincts are so much better than GOPe. He may have more incompletes, but he doesn’t shy from throwing the deep ball for a score. (football analogy)
