Roseanne made an awful mistake. She apologized multiple times, and was sincerely remorseful. It was right to call her out, but to try to destroy her? As many of us have been saying since this began, the reaction at ABC to fire her immediately was outrageous, and they now apparently agree.

I would guess they’re realizing the series would not work without her, and that they way the network handled the situation was disastrous. The problem for the left is they never stop to think, they never address issues with seriousness, and their first instinct is to destroy.

Via Daily Mail.

Top ABC brass may have acted too swiftly by pulling the plug on Roseanne – and they now fear the show’s replacement spin-off will flop without its star.

Two senior executives at the network have told DailyMailTV that firing the actress was a ‘knee-jerk’ reaction by ABC’s president and admitted that temporarily suspending Barr may have been a wiser decision.

‘We didn’t think it through properly. What Roseanne did was wrong but we shouldn’t have rushed to fire her. It was almost a knee-jerk reaction by Ben [Sherwood] and Channing [Dungey] who should have launched an investigation,’ one insider said.

‘This would have given them more time to listen to the public, advertisers and cast members to determine the best decision.’

Suddenly they’re all Einstein. The slogan for today’s liberals and Democratic party should simply be “Oops!” And it’ll fit nicely on bumper stickers and baseball caps.

The Democrats are finding out in November the repercussions of that preference to annihilate people, and I predict ABC will learn their lesson next week when the doomed “The Connors” premieres. John Goodman may have provided a clue about the condition of the series when he said in an interview that Roseanne has been “missed” in the reboot. The audience is going to be missed, too.

If ABC wants, they can fix this situation very quickly: rehire Roseanne. Instead, they’re waiting to see the ratings of the first episode. They’ll be in for a surprise. (And I can already hear Roseanne’s iconic laugh in the background …)

ABC has a new show following at 8:30pm. About a family with 8 boys. With a bad lead-in, that show will suffer. Could snowball into ruining the entire night’s lineup. Strategic thinking by ABC. Not.

It’s already been cancelled, except no one on the cast knows it yet…just watch…
