Sen. Ted Cruz being confronted at a DC restaurant

As Tammy writes in her latest Washington Times column:

….While many are wondering what the Democrats could be thinking by encouraging “incivility” and violence, it is beginning to make sense: They want to give the media something to cover other than the continued blossoming of the country, while distracting their own base from the fact that everyone is better off now than they’ve been in 17 years…..

Here’s my suggestion for a new motto for the Democrat Party: “When they go low… stick your fingers in their salad.”

The University of Mississippi has condemned a tweet by a faculty member that called on activists to abandon civility and harass Republican senators in public.

“Don’t just interrupt a Senator’s meal, y’all,” James Thomas, an assistant professor of sociology, tweeted from his @Insurgent_Prof account on Oct. 6, the day Justice Brett Kavanaugh was sworn into the Supreme Court.

“Put your whole damn fingers in their salads,” he wrote. “Take their apps and distribute them to the other diners. Bring boxes and take their food home with you on the way out. They don’t deserve your civility.”

Without specifically naming Mr. Thomas, Ole Miss Chancellor Jeffrey Vitter issued a statement Sunday condemning a “recent social media post by a UM faculty member,” Campus Reform reported.

“A recent social media post by a UM faculty member did not reflect the values articulated by the university, such as respect for the dignity of each individual and civility and fairness,” Mr. Vitter wrote. “While I passionately support free speech, I condemn statements that encourage acts of aggression. I urge all members of the Ole Miss community to demonstrate civility and respect for others and to honor the ideal of diversity of thought that is a foundational element of the academy.”….

Meanwhile, Mr. Thomas has remained unapologetic for the still-active post, doubling down on his incivility argument and reposting “fan mail” from angry “MAGA trolls.”….

It’s time for conservatives to go on offense. Start targeting ultra-extreme left-wing academic pinheads. Start showing up at Democrat events and making ourselves heard.

And here’s an idea: Find a restaurant that’s hostile to conservatives. Make a reservation for a large group. Everyone shows up, orders a big dinner, and dines happily. Then, when it’s almost finished, everyone pulls out hidden MAGA hats, stands up and toasts President Trump. If they’re ordered out, they get a free dinner. If they aren’t, they beard the lion in its den. And if nothing happens, then they’ve had a fun evening out. Win-Win-Win! Oh, and of course, have someone video the entire event.

His Twitter account is private. Twitter bio says, Slayer of Nazis.
    So Communist ?
White man married to a Black woman, based on Twitter profile photo. And 2 children. I’m sure he’s heard racist comments.
But ultimately, the bitterness of Academia needs to be addressed. Academic Freedom protection needs to be restricted to academic Speech. Not everything a Prof. says.

Stick you’re finger in my salad, and I’m keeping it (the finger, not the salad).
