I would send her a copy of Climate Alarm: Failed Prognostications but like, “prognostications” is a big word for, like, a twelve year old.
And maybe she picked “twelve” years because the number “ten” was already used…when Al Gore, in January 2006, predicted the world would end in ten years, because of ‘Climate Change.’
Or something.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., spoke out on Monday about the urgency to take on climate change, comparing it to World War II.
Speaking at an event commemorating Martin Luther King Day, Ocasio-Cortez expressed how the issue of climate change is a “generational” issue that younger people are more focused on.
“Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that will come after us are looking up and we’re like: ‘The world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?'” Ocasio-Cortez said….

The UN has a program/policy, UN Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.
Goal is elimination of world poverty by 2030. Fairly certain that’s why she said 12 years.
The current consensus is that we must move swiftly and decisively to prevent the world from ending five years ago.
