Wow, WaPo is sooo “woke.”
And so is the NYT:
The Apollo program was designed by men, for men. If we do not acknowledge the gender bias of the early space program, it becomes difficult to move past it. https://t.co/Mt7rVLgAaf
— The New York Times (@nytimes) July 17, 2019
“It wouldn’t be a celebration of American ingenuity without the Washington Post finding a way to crap all over it.”
The culture that put men on the moon was intense, fun, family-unfriendly, and mostly white and male https://t.co/x5vQBuU4IN
— The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) July 16, 2019
And yep, their tweet was ratioed “into the stratosphere.”
Just like the WaPo newsroom at the time.

I don't know the author's race or gender, but I do know this is flaming garbage. Judging by character: we're advanced here in 2019.

I keep telling my friends that moon landings are racist and sexist. Now I have source data.

Anyway, if you actually care about the few women who were involved (and you're not, that's not what this is about), here are some of their stories.https://t.co/vwT6vJSuuC https://t.co/k0bN7YSnpf

2 cynical thoughts come to me This is the opposite of; Some People did Something, remark by Rep. Omar referring to 911 attackers. And somewhat consistent with Obama saying NASA’s mission is to make Muslims feed good about themselves (paraphrase).
In 1969, military in Vietnam were bad and NASA was good. 50 years later, it’s reversed. At this rate, Motherhood will be condemned because so many Mothers are cis gendered.
They must have missed seeing “Hidden Figures”.
