Via The Hill.
Joe Biden has a millennial problem.
The former vice president is holding onto his perch atop the polls, but strategists and political observers say he needs to do better with younger voters if he wants to win the Democratic nomination next year.
A Pew Research Center poll out this past week shows that while Biden is doing well with voters age 50 and up, he is struggling to win over adults under the age of 30….
If he wants to reactivate the Obama coalition that helped Obama win two elections, he won’t be able to do it without younger voters,” one Democratic strategist said. “There’s just no way around that.”….
I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say creepy, sleepy uncle Joe will get the nom from the Dems. Yeah, he’s a horribly flawed candidate (like Hillary), but he’s the least craziest of that bunch of losers.
My only caveat is that he doesn’t throw himself out of the race before they can nominate him. I still don’t think he wants it.
I agree and am out on the same limb, only because I think he’s easily controlled by those behind the scenes. If he falters, then it’s Kamala unless she takes the VP spot. And if he fades after the election (assuming he wins), then it’s still Kamala. He’s almost like a sympathy candidate, especially if Trump thrashes him in the debates. And that makes him useful to the Dems.
