[Video] Israeli Divers Uncover Trove of Shipwrecked Roman Treasure

Two divers found an ancient treasure lurking in the harbor at Caesarea National Park, and after they informed the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA) they returned with archaeologists to dive down and recover the ancient statues and coins from the depths. The find, which is the largest assemblage of marine artifacts to be recovered in the last thirty years, was made by divers Ran Feinstein and Ofer Ra’anan of Ra’anana. Hero Dog Saves Girl From Rattlesnake

When a venomous Eastern diamondback rattlesnake appeared in the backyard of a 7-year-old Florida girl, her German shepherd came to her rescue, refusing to back down despite multiple snakebites. And now, hundreds of donors are coming to her family’s rescue, quickly topping the goal of $15,000 Friday on a GoFundMe account to help pay for the antivenin needed to keep the dog alive. Molly DeLuca was playing with her 2-year-old shepherd, named Haus, when the snake showed up on Wednesday. Haus jumped between them and was bitten three times, suffering damage to his kidneys. Rowling sat in while writing the first two books of the wizardry series was sold at a New York City auction on Wednesday for $394,000, the Associated Press reports. Rowling, 50, used the chair – which is reportedly one of four mismatched seats that were given to the writer – as she wrote Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
