Appropriate. But will she go out for some comfort soup? Via NYT. Dr. Nancy Snyderman has stepped down from her post as NBC’s chief medical editor, following a controversy that erupted last fall when she broke a self-imposed quarantine after returning from covering the Ebola outbreak in Liberia. Dr. Snyderman drew criticism in October when she was seen in public in New Jersey days after promising to quarantine herself for 21 days. While in Liberia, she had worked with Ashoka Mukpo, a camerman who had contracted the Ebola virus. After an extended absence from television, Dr. Snyderman returned to the air in December, but the incident tainted her relationship with NBC, according to a person close to Dr. Snyderman. In a...

Well, looks like Tammy got it exact right. Yet again. From her Washington Times column last week: Tammy Bruce — It’s the Ebola incompetence, stupid — There’s no Ebola panic, but the public’s measured judgment of Obama’s bungling There are a few things in the world that we know for sure, including the existence of Ebola, what those infected go through, and the fact that, as of now, there is no cure or official universal treatment that mitigate its fatality rate said to be around 70 percent. There is something else, however, that has also captured the headlines that doesn’t actually seem to exist: panic and hysteria about Ebola. If you Google the phrase “Ebola panic” you get 124,000...

Watch the latest video at video.foxnews.com Thank goodness she survived. Nina is out of the hospital and doing fine. You’ll see in the video she’s anxious to reunite with Bentley 🙂 And yes, Obama had to get in on it. The irony here is, he wants to enjoy the limelight of this young woman surviving and yet she never would have gotten sick if it hasn’t been for his feckless and dangerous policies. Via NBC News. Nina Pham walked out of the hospital and into the White House. Two weeks after she tested positive for Ebola, the Dallas nurse was declared free of the virus Friday and discharged from the Washington-area hospital where she had been treated in a special...

Police officers outside Dr. Spender’s apartment in New York Considering Obama’s policies, this was predictable. Equally concerning is a doctor who, laudably, worked with Doctors Without Borders in West Africa to help treat Ebola, who returned to the United States and then in about a week of his return (and the day before he reported symptoms) rode the subway, took an Uber ride and went to a bowling alley. You would think he, of all people, would have voluntarily self-quarantined. But no. It doesn’t help there is no universal guideline suggesting travelers self-quarantine. After all, when people arrive in the US from Ebola-stricken nations, we simply give them a little packet with a new thermometer and a card describing Ebola...

What’s up with POTUS and buses? We know he loves to throw people under them, but now, it seems just cannot stop talking about buses. Does he have a bus fetish? Or maybe he is thinking about his next career move? (If he wants to live in NYC, I hear the Metropolitan Transit Authority pays pretty well.) Via CNS News: Brittany M. Hughes — Obama Repeats: You Can’t Get Ebola on a Bus—Day After Bus Quarantined in D.C. On Saturday–one day after a bus that had departed from the Pentagon was quarantined on Capitol Hill in an Ebola false alarm–President Barack Obama issued a video message to Americans telling them that “you cannot get it [Ebola] from just riding on...

Nurses and members of the National Nurses Organizing Committee perform a “die in” on Wednesday to protest the lack of preparation of medical personnel to deal with Ebola outbreaks outside the L’Unione Italiana Italian Club building on in Tampa’s Ybor City. (Sam Owens/Tampa Bay Times via AP) Amazing comments from RoseAnn DeMoro, the head of National Nurses United. It’s become unusual to hear blunt talk about the Obama regime, but we now have a situation where it’s becoming clear to everyone Obama’s incompetent and he’s surrounded himself with smug, inexperienced 30-year-olds and idiotic leftists who view the average citizen as a distracting irritant. Thank goodness the nurses have a leader who isn’t afraid to confront the maniacs who are putting...

And the clusterfark continues. This second confirmed infection is a person from the team that treated Duncan in Texas. She flew from Cleveland to Dallas the day before presenting at the hospital with a fever. Ebola has been confirmed. The CDC is now scrambling to reach the 132 other people on the flight. Instapundit has a resonable suggestion about this debacle: Just a reminder, neither this infection or the infection of Nina Pham had to happen. They are a direct result of the refusal of this administration to isolate infected countries. And yet they continue to argue that stopping flights from West Africa, or simply stopping anyone who has been in those countries, from entering somehow wouldn’t make a difference....

Filling in for Cavuto, Varney does a great job highlighting the gobsmacking hypocrisy of the NIH director who blames supposed budget cuts for lack of an Ebola vaccine. Watch as Varney details the ridiculous “studies” on which they’ve been recklessly spending our tax dollars. All these federal bureaucrats should be thrown out on the ears. To paraphrase Obama’s now-infamous comment: The Obama Administration is really looking like one pathetic “Junior Varsity” team. Can’t they coordinate their talking points, so they don’t look like totally incompetent idiots? Last week, ‘Dr.’ Obama sent this message to W. Africans: Via CNS News: Obama: You Can’t Get Ebola ‘Sitting Next to Someone on a Bus;’ CDC: ‘Avoid Public Transportation’ ….“First, Ebola is not spread through the air like the flu,” Obama said in the video released by the White House Thursday. “You cannot get it through casual contact like sitting next to someone one a bus. You cannot get it from another person until they start showing symptoms of the disease, like fever.” Obama also said that “the most...
