Your good news for Thursday, and every day! Our big challenge as humans, is to make sure we love them as much as they love us. Via USA Today. They’re called “man’s best friend” for a reason. It turns out dogs genuinely love their owners, not just because they’re holding their favorite treat or chew toy. The studies are detailed in the book What It’s Like To Be a Dog by neuroscientist Dr. Gregory Berns of Emory University in Atlanta. In an interview with The New York Times, Berns breaks down an experiment where dogs were given hot dogs in some situations and praise in others. Berns found when researchers looked at the rewards centers of dogs’ brains, they responded...

We have so much to be grateful for on our Independence Day. As Tammy says, “Thank God for the Founders and for the divine spark that made this great nation possible.” Yes, we are blessed to live in the greatest country, ever. We are also so grateful for the Tammy Army fellowship. And I would like to add: Thank God that Hillary and her gang of Leftist losers are not in charge. There are so many great things happening now, despite the MSM hysteria over a very funny wrestling tweet: Isis on the run in Iraq and Syria Dow jumps 130 points, hits all-time high as second half of year begins Black Unemployment at Lowest Level in 17 Years U.S....

As Tammy says: *This* is who we are! Via Breitbart. A Texas soldier stationed at Fort Hood stood in the pouring rain as a funeral procession for a fallen veteran passed by on the highway. With all the horrible news lately, here’s something that reminds us there is also so much that is good in the world. Via Telegraph. A nature photographer came to the rescue of a white-tailed eagle that became stuck in thick coastal mud near the Polish town of Swinoujscie, and a drone captured video of the dramatic and dangerous operation. With the help of local firefighters, and after attempts to retrieve the eagle by other means had failed, Krzysztof Chomicz dragged himself through the sludge to reach the trapped bird while attached to a rope leading to dry land. Despite the distressed eagle attacking Chomicz in the arm and leg, the photographer managed to carry it back to safety…. Chomicz has...

As of Friday, nine million viewers. Via KHOU.com. ….Courtney and Justin Bennett just wanted to give their daughter Emma something special. The precocious 10-year-old was born with a rare birth defect and has worn a prosthetic limb for most of her life; but it’s never slowed her down. “She’s like any other child,” said Justin Bennett. “She swims. She’s in soccer, cheerleading, volleyball.” Emma also loves her ever expanding collection of American Girl dolls. But according to her mom, she’s always wished for a doll that looked like her. So the Bennetts researched the topic online and found “A Step Ahead Prosthetics,” a company willing to make after-market alterations to dolls. They sent one off, and a month later the...

I’m so grateful for our friendships and the special TAM Fellowship. I know many things are difficult these days, but we are uniquely suited to help make things better. I’m honored to be able to do this work because of your support and generosity. I know together we will succeed and our great country will get back on her feet again. Easter is an important reminder of how things we would never want or plan can lead to something important and good. For me, I’m reminded of the gift of life, and how each day holds unlimited potential. Thank you everyone, sending hugs and wishes for a beautiful day.
