Breitbart.com Launches New Site Design, All “BIGS” Under One Roof
by Tammy on March 5, 2012Now in one portal, you can reach all the Bigs at one place--Breitbart.com. And they start off with what Andrew promised--the beginning of the official vetting of Barack Obama. Published posthumously, the piece by Andrew does what no one in the LSM was ever willing to do--actually vet The Won...

A Tale of Two Chatrooms
by Tammy on March 1, 2012**Guest Post by TAM Shifra** Before the TamChat, I “belonged” to another chat room. Or, so I thought… January 2001. I am finishing up my coursework at a Postdoctoral psychoanalytic institute in Manhattan. There is a Listserve for referrals, conferences, and so on. It has also evolved into a forum for political discussions, which seem to center around “the stolen election,” ...

Steve Jobs Resigns as Apple CEO
by Tammy on August 24, 2011As an Apple person I’m especially distressed by this. I consider Jobs the tech equivalent of Walt Disney. Only one ever comes along and it’s not a talent that can be simply taught. I got a “Macintosh” in the mid-late 80s and it was the first computer that really got me engaged in the possibilities. My thanks to Steve Jobs for changing everything. I trust he’s taking care of his health, which is a good thing. Steve Jobs resigns as Apple CEO Apple chief executive Steve Jobs, who almost single-handedly changed the way people around the world consume music, the Internet and even TV, announced late Wednesday that he has resigned as leader of the company he co-founded in his...

A Note About Browser Internet Explorer v.9 Compatibility
by Gina on July 1, 2011A message from Gina A few TAMs have contacted me about a recurring technical issue with Internet Explorer v. 9. If you have experienced ‘script error’ messages on the main page here’s how to fix that. I want to thank TAM “tick” for coming up with the solution to this. Here’s his message which I want to share with you in case you’ve experienced the same issue: I found the work-around to this I.E. Ver 9 related problem. If I “add” www.tammybruce.com to the list of “Compatability View WebSites” (look under Tools in version 9) and then choose “Compatability View” under the same place, then the endless Script Errors go away. Apparently the new version 9 handles Javascript errors in...

Andrew Breitbart Catches Another One
by Tammy on June 7, 2011It’s Bad Guy Weiner everywhere we look, but the real story is Good Guy Andrew Breitbart (again) and how the interwebtubes allow said Good Guys to prevail. The Lamestream Media is now going to have a hard time ignoring or dismissing Andrew–he has used the web to take down a variety of hypocritical or corrupt liberal footsoldiers–including ACORN, Vivian Schiller of NPR (who, btw, was hired a few days ago by NBC), Helen Thomas, and now Weiner. CNN has (no doubt begrudgingly) done a piece on Andrew referring to him as a “gadfly.” Heh. Some gadfly. We all owe a big Thank You to Andrew for being out there and willing to get in the left’s ugly face. Perhaps it’s...

The Definitive ‘How To Get Into Chat’ Post
by Tammy on May 11, 2011A little while ago I posted a rather long-winded post about WP and TAM log in issues. Here now is a more concise version for newbie subscribers who want to enjoy our daily TAM Chat. 1) Many TAMs report that “ad blockers” block Chat. So if you have an ad blocker add-on to your browser please disable it for the blog. Thanks to the subscribers we don’t have ads that need to be blocked 🙂 2) You need to be signed into both WordPress and TAM 3) Sign into your TAM account in the right hand column using your email and password 4) Make sure you’re signed in at WordPress by logging in at: https://tammybruce.com/wp-login.php 5) Yes, it’s possible you’re...

TAM and WP Log-In Advice
by Tammy on April 13, 2011We continue to work on a few buggy issues involved with the new site design and I wanted to give you some tips on how to solve some persistent issues. For subscribers, aka Tammy Army Members (TAMs), we get a lot of emails about what seems to be the inability to be signed in to the TAM system and WordPress at the same time. For some of you, you are signed in as a TAM and can’t Comment, or you can Comment in a post but can’t get premium material. The WP and TAM elements are two different systems, and we obviously want them to work in harmony but since that doesn’t seem to be happening right now we do...

“Profile” Page Fix It Note
by Tammy on April 6, 2011UPDATE: The “Edit Your Profile” page has been partially fixed. You now can get your personal iTunes feed URL, and see some membership details. We are still working on the Contact link and getting ‘update’ elements restored so you can change your password, etc. More soon. ******** We’ve noticed that when you click your “Edit Your Profile” link there’s no info, and the links that are there are bad. We are working on it. For Newbies, that is there you can update your profile, change your password, and, if you’re a TAM, get your personal iTunes URL for podcast downloading. Thanks to TAMs and newbie Laurie for pointing out that bug. Will update here when fixed.

Google Chrome & Safari Browser Issue
by Tammy on April 6, 2011Apparently neither of those browsers are working well with the new design, specifically the sign in element and the drop down menus. We are working on that bug today and kindly ask, if possible, that you use Firefox or IE to access the site. We know those browsers work very well with the site 🙂 Thanks.

Tammy Blog All Clear and Ready To Go!
by Tammy on March 25, 2011**UPDATE Friday night 1130pm PT: Not. Kidding. After everything we’ve been through GoDaddy has confirmed they are having trouble tonight, so if the site comes and goes for you with various error messages, it’s not us! I’m doing the “Palin Report” Saturday morning. I will also send a copy to RuBegonia for her to cross-post in the event GoDaddy issues continue. All I can say is I’m sorry, but unlike the other issue there’s nothing I can do about this one. There is something we can do to keep this from happening in the future, and we are taking those steps. If you’re seeing this post, let’s hope the issue is resolved. ** ************ As you can now see, you...

Important Instructions Regarding TAM Migration
by Rachael on November 9, 2010Not Rachael, just a cute Comfort Puppy to help with the launch! **We do know there’s an issue with the iTunes RSS feed for the protected podcasts. We are working on that, in the meantime, please access the podcasts here at the blog. When it’s resolved I’ll let you know here. Plus the emails with new passwords are going out in batches so as to not overwhelm the Tammy System. It will arrive, I promise. In the meantime, I will make today’s 3rd Hour public to make up for it 🙂 So the TAMs who get their pw tonight will still get tonight’s special. ** **Tam Newbies: We are working on your access to podcasts. It seems to be the...

So Google, What If the “Hot Latvian Woman” Is a Cougar?
by Tammy on May 20, 2010It is 2010, right? Not 1950? I get so confused. And this from the company that’s in bed with China. Impressive. Google Tells Sites for ‘Cougars’ to Go Prowl Elsewhere If you’re a woman who would like to date younger men, you can find lots of articles about these relationships by doing a Google search. But as a woman looking for a man, you might be a little confused by the advertisements that accompany these articles. One promises to help you find sexy Latin women, and another, hot Latvian ladies. But there are no links to the growing number of “cougar” dating sites, matching older women with younger men, on content sites that show up in a Google search. Google...

Palin Email Hacker Guilty On 2 of 4 Charges
by Tammy on April 30, 2010Good job Tennessee. While I wish he had been convicted of all four charges, we’ll take the two. A good reminder to liberals everywhere–gone are the days when you do not suffer repercussions for your actions. Expect your next message to that effect in November. Palin E-Mail Hacker Convicted on 2 of 4 Charges A Tennessee jury on Friday convicted the man who hacked Sarah Palin’s e-mail account on two of four charges — computer fraud and obstruction of justice. The panel did not find David Kernall not guilty of wire fraud. It deadlocked on an identity theft charge. The former University of Tennessee student faced as much as 50 years for breaking into Palin’s e-mail while the former Alaska...
