Alan Dershowitz Doesn’t Hold Back: “Zimmerman Arrest Affidavit “Irresponsible And Unethical”
by Tammy on April 12, 2012The prosecutor in Florida released her “probable cause” affidavit in the Zimmerman case and Dershowitz is not impressed. In this interview he’s right on every point, especially noting that Corey has overcharged and the affidavit doesnt even meet the lowest standard for probable cause. Worth watching for the correct perspective on just how far Corey has gone pandering to the lynch mob.

The RNC’s New Ad: Laying the Obama Regime’s Idiocy Bare
by Tammy on March 29, 2012While we all realize Solicitor General Donald Verrilli is in a virtually impossible position defending the scat of ObamaCare to the Supreme Court, his performance has truly been pathetic. But then again, pathetic incompetence is the hallmark of the Obama regime. I certainly enjoyed this, I trust you will, too 🙂 The Hill: RNC attacks Obama healthcare lawyer’s performance in new video

CNN on ObamaCare at SCOTUS: “This was a train wreck for the Obama administration,”
by Tammy on March 27, 2012**Key audio added from today's proceedings** What an apt description. In fact, Obama has been a train wreck for this entire nation for 3 1/2 years, so this disaster would manifest itself in everything he's done. Nice to hear some honesty out of CNN on this issue as well. We have one more day with a decision not until probably June, so this is far from over, but so far it's looking good.

FDR, The New Deal, and The Sick Chicken Case
by Tammy on February 16, 2012**A Guest Post by TAM Shifra** During my high school and undergraduate years, in the ‘60’s, it was widely believed that FDR was a national hero for ending the Great Depression. Recently, however, conservative historians and economists, including Amity Shlaes, in her book “The Forgotten Man,” have begun to argue that his policies not only did not end the Great Depression, but they actually prolonged it by several years.

US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg To Egypt: Don’t Use US Constitution As A Model
by Tammy on February 3, 2012Outrageous. And people wonder why we’re going to heck in a handbasket. When a sitting US Supreme Court Justice tell an emerging nation that the US Constitution is not something worth copying, it exposes the utter depravity of leftists everywhere. After all, how can you expect justice and fair interpretation of the Constitution by someone who doesn’t even hold the document in high, or any, regard? Another reason why we must have a Tea Party Revolution on November 6, Imagine what the message this comment sends Egyptians, and Islamists, everywhere? Even one of our own justices doesn’t think highly enough of our founding document to recommend it. It gives cave men everywhere aid and comfort. Allahpundit has some excellent comments...

Republican Gov. Haley Barbour Pardons FOUR Convicted Murderers
by Tammy on January 9, 2012The absolute epitome of the death of right and wrong. When I spoke about this during the live Tammy Show, I was outraged when I thought he had pardoned one convicted murderer. Now we learn it was four of them. For any normal human being this is inexplicable. Barbour’s last day as governor is tomorrow so while there may be no immediate fallout, there must be a discussion about this rank obscenity and make sure Barbour doesn’t just walk away from this. He certainly shouldn’t be rewarded with any sort of a cozy White House job with the next GOP administration. The men he pardoned were not arguably wrongly convicted or who had support due to questions about the fairness...

Finally–L.A. Detectives Reopen Natalie Wood Death Inquiry
by Tammy on November 18, 2011It's about time. For many of us in Los Angeles, the 'official' story of Natalie Wood's tragic drowning death in 1981 never rang true. Now, after 30 years, Los Angeles police want to talk with the captain of the yacht Wood and her husband Robert Wagner, and their guest Christopher Walken, were on the night she died...

Supreme Court Agrees to Rule on ObamaCare
by Tammy on November 14, 2011I just have to say, I am not filled with confidence when I see a picture of the Supreme Court which includes Sotomayor and Kagen. Another reason why our victory in 2012 is clearly imperative. As expected. Here’s some background. One thing everyone can start today is add this element in to your prayers for the nation–it is imperative they declare this monstrosity unconstitutional. Here’s your background. Supreme Court Agrees to Rule on Health Law The long-awaited Supreme Court showdown over the Obama administration’s health-care overhaul formally began Monday as the justices agreed to consider a high-profile challenge to the law. The court, in a short written order, agreed to hear a challenge brought by a group of Republican governors...

2009 Killer Of Army Recruiter William Long Being Tried As ‘Street Thug’
by Pat_S on May 21, 2011A Muslim convert guns down army recruiters, declares jihad as his motive, claims he wanted to start a terror cell. Does the government call him a terrorist? No, he is a “street thug” who committed a drive-by shooting. In June 2009 two army recruiters were gunned down in front of their recruiting office in Little Rock. Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula was wounded. Pvt. William Long was killed. Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, a convert to Islam, was arrested. Although there was ample reason to believe the shooting was politically and religiously motivated, the media was ho-hum about the story. President Obama addressed the crime only after a public outcry over his silence. This was Obama’s statement in its entirety: “I am deeply...

Closing The Barnes Door On Privacy Rights
by Pat_S on May 16, 2011Oh, by the way, the Indiana Supreme Court decided to toss out the common-law right to resist unlawful police entry of a person’s home. The majority ruled resisting unlawful police entry into a house was against public policy and incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence. How did this come about? Robert Barnes was arguing with his wife Mary while he was moving out of their apartment. Mary tried calling her sister, but Robert threw the phone against the wall. Mary then used her cell phone to call 911. She told the police her husband was throwing things around but he had not struck her. The police arrived, identified Robert Barnes in the parking lot and began questioning him. Robert raised...

Conspiracies Left and Right
by Pat_S on April 30, 2011Rightwing conspiracy theorists were arguably disappointed this week with the release of the long-concealed birth certificate. Without much fanfare, the leftwing conspiracy theorists had a disappointment too. The Second Court of Appeals dismissed April Gallop’s case in which she claimed her and her child’s constitutional rights were violated when Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and others in the Bush administration— …caused the September 11, 2001 attacks “in order to create a political atmosphere in which they could pursue domestic and international policy objectives and to conceal the misallocation of $2.3 trillion in Congressional appropriations… Ms. Gallop was working in the Pentagon on 9/11. Her infant child was also on the premises. The Court concluded Ms. Gallop’s complaint—- …hypothesizes a fantastical alternative...

Sen. Schumer Nullifies Judicial Branch
by Pat_S on January 30, 2011A post by Pat A fascinating lapse from a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Sen. Schumer, in speaking about raising the debt limit, urged the three branches of government to work together. That is the House, the Senate and the Presidency. Sen. Schumer complained that the Roberts Court turned back the clock 100 years in the Citizens United decision. Apparently what he really meant was the Supreme Court is no longer relevant as far as he’s concerned.

Maynard Dodges a Bullet
by Maynard on November 24, 2010More stupid adventures of Maynard, culminating in a stupid question This week I was on call for California jury service. The short week has come to an end, and my number did not come up. I am a free man. I have mixed feelings about the process. On one hand, I acknowledge my obligation to God and country. People have been called to go to war and die on foreign battlefields. Surely it’s not too much to ask me to go downtown and sit on a jury. On the other hand, as a professional tech guy (that’s what I am!), I compulsively seek to fit the right tool to the right job. Clearly, some people are righter for jury service...

Feds Probing Arizona Again — Teacher Hiring
by Pat_S on September 8, 2010A post by Pat This time it’s about the state’s standards for English teachers. Arizona wants them to be fluent in English. The feds assume this is bigotry. Feds probing claims of bias against Arizona’s non-native English speaking teachers The federal government is investigating whether Arizona has discriminated against teachers who are not native English speakers, state Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne confirmed Tuesday. The state Department of Education for years has been monitoring English fluency of teachers who instruct English learners, but in April began instructing districts to fire teachers who weren’t proficient in the language. At issue is a push by the state Department of Education to get tough on teachers who lack basic English skills or...

Michigan Fake Tea Party Loses Ballot Spot
by Pat_S on September 3, 2010A post by Pat As elsewhere, the Democrats in Michigan tried to pull a fast one by organizing a bogus political party hijacking the Tea Party identity. They were dumped off the ballot by the Michigan Supreme Court in a 5-2 vote. In July, a 2-2 vote on the Board of Canvassers allowed “The Tea Party” to appear on the ballot. The bogus group, organized and populated by Democrats, held their nominating convention in July. An attorney for “The Tea Party” said the convention was attended by 10-15 people who nominated 23 candidates. Most of the candidates are running in districts where incumbent Democrats are in close races. The 60,000 petition signatures to place the party on the ballot were...
