Holy Anti-Cop Batman! Latest Batman Comic Based On Police Racism
by Pat_S on September 16, 2015The Caped Crusader comes to realize as a rich man he is somewhat to blame for institutional racism and racist cops. The narrative alludes to the deaths of Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin and problems supposedly caused by gentrification. Batman confronts police racism in latest comic book. The latest issue of DC Comics’ flagship Batman series throws itself headfirst into the agonizing conversations roiling America more than a year after Ferguson officer Darren Wilson killed 18-year old Michael Brown. The globally iconic superhero confronts racialized police brutality and its intersection with urban poverty and gentrification – problems Batman comes to realize he exacerbates in his secret identity as billionaire industrialist Bruce Wayne. I’m not a Batman fan so I really...

New Orleans Guest On MSNBC: Please Don’t Call Katrina Survivors ‘Resilient’ !
by Shifra on August 31, 2015Could someone please buy this woman a dictionary? She does not want the people of New Orleans to be called ‘resilient.’ Because…racism! And yes, the movie ‘Airplane!’ does come to mind. 🙂 Via Mediaite: An MSNBC guest today told Melissa Harris-Perry that she doesn’t want people using the word “resilient” in describing Hurricane Katrina victims. Louisiana Justice Institute President Tracie Washington‘s name has been found on this poster, one of many put up around New Orleans: She explained to Harris-Perry that she doesn’t like the term and politicians shouldn’t use it because “it represents an unnatural state” and is basically a conditioning of people to perhaps expect more they will have to be resilient against…. Hillary Accuses America of ‘Racism,’ Lives In Town With 1.9% Black Population
by Shifra on June 22, 2015This weekend, in San Francisco, Hillary blasted “white privilege,” and the racism inherent in the U.S. But, as Tammy pointed out on Fox & Friends yesterday, if Hillary had gone to Charleston this weekend, instead of continuing to fundraise in California, she would have seen a city with all its diversity, holding hands, refusing to give in to hate. Hillary told the audience that “for a lot of well-meaning, open-minded white people, the sight of a young black man in a hoodie still evokes a twinge of fear.” She also pointed a finger at white Americans “who don’t want those people” in their neighborhoods. Well, looks like Hillary knows what she is talking about. Since her neighborhood, Chappaqua, NY, is...

Open Thread: The Charleston Church Massacre
by Shifra on June 19, 2015Almost immediately after the horrific event at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, the race-baiters were out in full force, spewing their toxic brew, from The Southern Poverty Law Center claiming that “hate is on the rise because Obama is in the White House,” to Van Jones demanding the media refer to the killer as ‘white racist terrorist’ with same force & ease that we would use terms “Muslim” + “terrorist,” to blaming Fox News for the shooting. However, here is one of the many sane voices, obviously not getting the media attention of the race-hustlers: Via IJ Review: Forget the Media & All the Hoopla That Comes With It – This is What People in Charleston Had to Say...

FLOTUS Speaks At Museum Opening, Pulls Out Race Card
by Shifra on May 6, 2015The Whitney Museum in NYC has moved to a new location. And Michelle Obama was invited to speak at the opening celebration. In her speech, she used the opportunity to stoke the flames of racial divide. It’s what the Obamas do best. Via BizPac Review: FLOTUS plays race card: Museums are for white people First lady Michelle Obama used a speech Monday that was supposed to be celebrating the opening of a new museum to instead dig deeper the racial divide that’s been growing ever wider during her husband’s presidency. “Museums and concert halls,” she said, just don’t welcome non-white visitors – especially children – the way they welcome whites. Speaking at the new Whitney museum in New York City’s...

NYT Columnist Fires Back After Omitting Key Detail in Racially-Charged Story
by Shifra on February 3, 2015Charles Blow is a black left-wing columnist for the New York Times. His son is a third-year student at Yale. A week ago, his son left the Yale library, and was stopped by a Yale police officer who was searching the grounds for a robbery suspect. Blow’s son seemed to fit the description. The officer drew his gun and told him to get down on the ground. After questioning, and checking his school ID, he was let go. Blow then wrote a racially-charged story about the incident. And he took to Twitter: #ICantBreathe #BlackLivesMatter — Charles M. Blow (@CharlesMBlow) January 25, 2015 This is exactly why I have NO PATIENCE for ppl trying to convince me that the fear these...

Newspaper Wants “Meaningful Discussion About Race,” Bans Comments
by RedMoonProject on December 9, 2014**Bumped Up From TAMWire. Posted By RedMoonProject** The editors at The St. Louis Post-Dispatch have decided that they want to have “a meaningful discussion about race.” And they are so serious about this that they are going to refuse to listen to their readers about it. They are turning off their comments in the hope of elevating the level of conversation. Seriously. Now stop laughing. No, I mean it. Stop laughing. STOP LAUGHING. Don’t you understand that you are too stupid to comment on these sorts of serious matters? Didn’t you listen to Gruber talk about you little people? Really, this is why the elites don’t want to listen to you people. You just have far too many opinions that...

Side-by-Side Comparison of Obama’s ‘Race’ Speeches
by Tammy on October 2, 2012Daily Caller came out today with a remarkable speech from Obama in June 2007, a short 9 months before Obama’s campaign race speech. Let’s just say the two a very different. Tonight Hannity presented a clip comparing a few elements of the two speeches. Obama’s hypocrisy is astounding. At the end of the clip you’ll hear Hannity and Carlsen wonder which Obama is the real Obama. I suggest neither one–both were theatre. I think it’s become quite obvious in the past 4 years that Obama’s agenda involves destroying everyone’s lives, and will morph into whatever the moment requires of him to accomplish that goal. By the way, it’s nice to see the Daily Caller move away from promoting sexist, arguably...

Rep. West: MLK would be ‘devastated’ by Obama
by Tammy on January 16, 2012Allen West is the perfect example of the sort of American hero Tea Party elevated in the midst of a myopic and entrenched GOP machine. The Machines tried to prosecute him for doing his job in Iraq, Americans elevated him to Congressman. On behalf of all Americans, I would like to thanks Allen west for facingdown the Machines, running for office, and never giving up. And on this MLK holiday, he also has a few important words about and for Obama. Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., charged President Obama with “fomenting racism” in his reelection efforts, noting also that Obama is a “literal manifestation” of how Martin Luther King Jr. and the civil rights movement succeeded. “With all of this progress,...

Rep. Allen West Considering Leaving Black Caucus
by Tammy on August 31, 2011There will be times when we disagree with Rep. West, but what drew me to him in the first place are his core values, authentic conservativism, and genuine heart-felt love for this country. I remember when he joined the Congressional Black Caucus some questioned whether he should. Clearly, we can only change certain things from the inside, but the recent comments by some members of caucus has Congressman West rethinking, as you might imagine, his involvement with the group. West considering leaving Black Caucus Rep. Allen West (Fla.), the lone Republican in the Congressional Black Caucus, said Tuesday morning that he is considering leaving the group in light of comments made by Rep. Andrè Carson (D-Ind.), the caucus whip, who...

Tara Wall: Dr. Laura Has a Point
by Tammy on August 20, 2010A refreshing and to-the-point commentary on Dr. Laura, the “n-word” and hypocrisy. I have one word for Ms. Wall–the “b-word” — as in “Brava.” And do please click through and read the whole thing. Dr. Laura has a point Dr. Laura Schlessinger boldly went where no one but the hypocritical black elite can boldly go. For that, she deserves respect, not ridicule. While the good doctor used a word so forbidden that it has been relegated to rappers and street slingers, she brought attention to an issue worth addressing once and for all. It’s talked about in beauty salons, barbershops, urban radio shows and at black family reunions. But not out loud. She may not be the “right” messenger for...
