Patricia, Pippa and Corkie Our friend and longtime TAM Patricia Smiley passed away last Thursday, April 20. She was surrounded by family in the comfort of her home. Patricia was one of the first TAMs and provided wonderful advice and support when Tammy Radio went independent. A regular contributor for the blog and excellent researcher and helper for Tammy Radio, her support and friendship really helped make our work easier, smarter and more successful. On Twitter, she was always active, sharing stories and making sure her followers were well informed and encouraged. Her pups and social media representatives, Pippa and Corkie, would always make me smile. In addition to being a great independent conservative, like most of us, she was...

Loved by everyone, I think I can speak for those of us with television being our primary influence as we grew up: I’m grateful I was able to watch a show like “Mary Tyler Moore” in the 1970s, featuring a single working woman in a field dominated by men. She reflected both strength and vulnerability, and also modeled how to be a decent person and good friend. In the 1970s, that sort of imagery was rare. For many, you were able to rely on your family to show you what the possibilities were; I was alone most of the time, with television as the major influence. I can’t tell you how grateful I am that I grew up at a...

In desperation, he threw out Bernie Sanders’ name, and yes, that worked. Sort of… Via American Mirror. It may be crisp and sunny in Durham, New Hampshire, today, but the atmosphere was dark and damp inside Hillary Clinton’s rally…. They thought it was free? Bwahahahahahahahahahaha Via NY Post. Some of Bernie Sanders’ 1,831 New York delegates can’t scrape up enough cash to attend this month’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia — so they’ve turned to crowdfunding websites to raise the cash. “The cost definitely was a surprise,” said Jessica Frisco, 23, a delegate from the Upper West Side. “People are freaking out.” ….At least 20 Sanders delegates from New York have set up online crowdfunding campaigns to plead for cash **************************************************** .

49 innocents were murdered. That number may increase with over 50 hospitalized. We have identified them, but police are releasing names only after family has been notified. Here’s who we know so far. May they all rest in peace. In their names, let us focus on the truth and act on the reality of what they faced at that club. The attempts to politically obscure the hell they went through is itself obscene. Wemake sure their deaths are not in vain. A GoFundMe page has been started for the victims and families. Oops… Via Independent: A man appears to have deleted his entire company with one mistaken piece of code. By accidentally telling his computer to delete everything in his servers, hosting provider Marco Marsala has seemingly removed all trace of his company and the websites that he looks after for his customers. Mr Marsala wrote on a forum for server experts called Server Faultthat he was now stuck after having accidentally run destructive code on his own computers. But far from advising them how to fix it, most experts informed him that he had just accidentally deleted the data of his company and its clients, and in so doing had probably destroyed his entire company with just one line of code....

Sad, and 66 is waaaay too early. We don’t have details except it involved a “medical emergency.” Very much liked him. Video from a holding area for Hillary Clinton rally attendees in Orlando, Florida shows a long line of people completely disinterested in joining in chants for the candidate…. “I believe that she will win,” she chanted, trying to get the crowd to join. Only a smattering did. Most stood with their hands in their pockets, chatted with a neighbor or browsed their phones.
