In what every chocolate lover fears, over a million Cadbury chocolate bars are being removed from stores in England over a health scare.
Thank goodness no American chocolate products have ever faced such a tragedy. What would we do without Moose Munch? Hershey bars? Or God forbid–any ice cream from anywhere?
Cadbury recall after health fears
More than a million Cadbury chocolate bars are to be removed from shelves amid fears that they may be contaminated with salmonella…The 250g Dairy Milk Turkish, Dairy Milk Caramel and Dairy Milk Mint bars, the Dairy Milk 8 chunk and the 1kg Dairy Milk bar are among products affected. The 105g Dairy Milk Buttons Easter Egg and the Freddo bar were also affected.
The contamination was caused by a leaking pipe at Cadbury’s Marlbrook plant, near Leominster, Herefordshire.
And remember, this is only a problem in England. Whatever you do, for your own well being everywhere else, continue to eat the chocolate you have. The backlash of no chocolate cold turkey, well, I don’t even want to think about it. Especially when there’s absolutely no reason to stop. I mean, what would possess you to stop? That’s just crazy nonsense talk.
In the meantime, send the English your prayers and may God help them.

You crack me up, Tammy.
Funny you should bring up chocolate Tammy. Just yesterday while at the drug store I wandered down the candy line ( somehow I always end up going that way on my way to check out ) and picked up a Cadbury dark chocolate bar , mmmmmmmmm dark chocolate. I HAVE to have a piece of that before I go to bed. Poor bloody Brits. I would not want to be in their shoes for all the tea in England. Have you ever had chocolate whip cream ? Wow.
Mmmmm….chocolate. Now I absolutely MUST have some. 🙂
