My usual 10:20am ET (7:20am PT) segment. Have not been told what the subject matter is, but it will deal with a political headline of the day.

Wouldn’t it be nice if I could spout off about the Michael Vick situation!

UPDATE:

Well, it wasn’t about Vick. The segment focused on Newt Gingrich turning into Miss Cleo and ‘predicting’ that the Dems would nominate a Clinton/Obama ticket. That takes real insight. Inoted that it makes perfect sense, in that Hillary will be governing with her sex-addict husband (they see this as ‘their’ third term of course) and wouldn’t want a VP who would actually have to be dealt with when it comes to ideas and policy. Instead, Obama would make the perfect little Clinton intern, waiting his turn for what everyone would assume would be an 8-year training period.

That is the arrogance which pervades the Clinton camp. I think they, like the Amnesty Repubs and Dems, will be quite shocked in November 2008 when they find out we can’t be bought.

You may not have been able to spout off about Vick but you did pick up on Bob’s astonishing crack about “better than having a Morman president”. I was double-blinking when he said that.

You also suggested Al Gore should enter the race. Please tell me you were trying to be funny.

You did great. I thought Bill Hemmer was a tad rude.

I thought Madonna had adopted Obama by now…

I have to disagree with the conventional wisdom and say that I don’t think Obama is going to be Hillary’s VP candidate. The Dems are not going to risk running both a woman and a black man at the same time. Not to mention that Obama is totally unqualified and inexperienced, which is finally shining through to the public.

I’ve always thought Hillary’s VP candidate would be Bill Richardson. He’s a well-liked governor, a former diplomat (so he can tout “international experience”), he’ll make it easier for Hillary to court the good ol’ Hispanic Vote, and, most importantly, he’s a Clintonista. The Clintons usually work within their inner circle, of which Richardson is a part.
