Hollywood may be doing its damndest to demoralize the nation and undermine the war effort, but it continues to indulge in its own special brand of bomb-making. Here’s an amusing slideshow of Hollywood’s top 25 turkeys, just in time for Thanksgiving.

That was fun. I’ve seen a disturbing number of these film. Maybe 35-40% of them.

Catwoman was really disappointing. It could have been great. How can you screw up Catwoman? But they did. I think Halle Berry has been utterly horrific in everything I have ever seen her in, except “Monster’s Ball” in which she was strangely brilliant.

And Basic Instinct 2…. Wow. Ouch. Sharon Stone must have been ready to slit her wrists during filming. Not just a terrible film, but a really depressing artifact in general. I wonder if you can tell (surely, right?) that you are producing total garbage when actually making the film, or are the actors surprised at the opening?

How about some of my all time favorite stinkers – Al Pacino in “Revolution”, Godfather III, The Black Dahlia (Directed by Brian DePalma), Kevin Costner in “A Perfect World”, Mel Gibson’s “The Patriot”, Richard Burton in “Exorcist II: the Heretic”, and just about any Woody Allen movie made during the last few years of his relationship with Mia Farrow i.e. “September”, “Shadows and Fog”, “Another Woman”, “Husbands and Wives”, “Alice”, etc.
