You may recall Sderot, the Israeli town that has been, due to its proximity to Gaza (less than a mile away), a major target of thousands of terrorist missiles and mortars. The endless barrage of bombs aimed at Sderot and anywhere else the terrorists can reach is the cause of the current Gaza operation. Terrorists smuggle rockets into Gaza through what Jimmy Carter incredibly referred to as “defensive tunnels” in his recent editorial.

We’re aware of the failings of the mainstream media. Joe the Plumber is now a war correspondent, and he’s doing what he can to change the tone. Reporting from Sderot:

Samuel Wurzelbacher of Ohio, aka Joe the Plumber, arrived in Sderot at noon Sunday to show local and foreign reporters how to do it right.

“You should be ashamed of yourself,” he told foreign reporters.

“You should be patriotic, protect your family and children, not report like you have been doing for the past two weeks since this war has started,” he said.

Armed with a camera and a temporary Government Press Office card, he got a taste of reality in Sderot, visiting a house hit by a Kassam rocket two weeks ago and experiencing a “Code Red” alert first-hand. He also observed and reported from the house where a Kassam landed on Sunday afternoon.

The people of Sderot “can’t do normal things day to day,” like get soap in their eyes in the shower, for fear a rocket might come in, Wurzelbacher said. “I’m sure they’re taking quick showers. I know I would.”

He also wondered why Israel waited so long to act. “I know if I were a citizen here, I’d be damned upset.” He described himself as a “peaceloving man,” but added, “when someone hits me, I’m going to unload on the boy. And if the rest of the world doesn’t understand that, then I’m sorry.”

Sderot has also created its own website, the Sderot Media Center. Check out the page and the collection of Sderot videos that tries to make outsiders understand what it’s like living under a rain of rockets and bombs.

I love hearing Joe just tell it like it is to the reporters. And yes, every single jar-headed idiot in the media should be ashamed of their behavior & for leaving their countries, families and friends vulnerable to our determined enemies.

I do not understand what these fools believe they will gain through helping Hamas and the Iranian Hitler. Because the west does not understand the history of Hamas and its historic direct ties to Nazism, those angry with Israel are no different than those who goose-stepped for Adolf Hitler.

Did it ever occur to anyone that perhaps Israel wouldn’t have to be defending herself if it weren’t for a bunch of half-bakes voting Barack Obama into office in the first place? Hmmmmm? That’s what ‘hope & change’ gets ya! Morons.

It is so obvious the EM is anti-Israel and knowingly conforms to the Hamas propaganda line. The psychotic obsession Hamas has for death, especially children, is well-documented. The EM knows it and doesn’t care.

In Hamas’ own words their strategy is to use civilians as human shields against “the Israel bombing machine”.

An Hamas documentary demonstrates how their twisted minds work—the Jews planned the Holocaust to get rid of disabled and handicapped Jews and to generate sympathy for creating a Jewish state.

The media run sad stories like this about Hamas’ children, More than 260 children killed, but turn a blind eye to this obscene indoctrination of children as cannon fodder by Hamas.

The EM is willingly complicit in the depravity of this jew-hating psycho death cult. The world has gone insane.

Here’s one more video showing how much Hamas cares about their children. From Act for America

    Give em hell,Joe!

Why did Israel wait so long? The reason is because the Prime Minster a cretin named Ehud Olmert was in power.

I agree, Artgal. Israel wouldn’t be in the position it is right now if McCain were the president-elect.

  6. Shawmut says:

That’s right to the point, Artgal.
The dysfunctional world community has been treating Hamas and Hezbollah as though they were patients of Dr. Spock’s child psychology.
An applied spanking, early on, would have saved these stateless brats from becoming the political criminals they are.

Deep admiration for and gratitude to Samuel Wurzelbacher are what I have. He is one credible American.

I can no longer watch the news. It seems pervaded lies, hostile interests and fraudulent reporting.

With Joe there, I feel like for the first, someone I can identify with is reporting the news. So this is how liberals have felt the last few decades.

The unapologetic, misleading, liberal MSM and the likes of Jimmy “if we’re nice to them maybe they’ll love us” Carter must be countered with someone in the media that reflects the American and Israeli point of view: reality, consequences, and big brass b-lls!

Beginning to sound like Joe the Plumber might want to either get out of Israel, or head to Iraq to cover more escalation of the Israeli fronts. Newsmax reports this morning Israel ready to strike Iran “THIS WEEK”. Heck yeah, hand me a missile!
