In Tammy’s unending work to save the nation from Bad Guys, a special commitment had to be tended to. Today’s show will be yesterday’s third hour as a public broadcast. It will run for both the first and the second hour today.

    I will have to make a note to check every morning to avoid disappointment and frustration. I most certainly understand and glad to be part of the Army (are we ALLOWED to use the word Army anymore?)….Theresa

    Ash to 600 meters is not so bad I think. I hope it doesn’t do a repeat of what it has done before, or at least that we get more time. The deep solar quiet meant already that it would be getting cold. And, I see it as no coincidence. I think this is exactly how an ice age starts, and it’s right on schedule. The volcanic activity will accelerate the chilling if it blows really good. I think if it isn’t Krakatoa it will be another. Something drives these things, it is interrelated. The primary cause is orbital / gravitational change affecting the core of the sun and its output. After that, magnetic field changes, the Svensmark reaction, and who knows what kicks up the vulcanism, it gives us the glaciation cycle.
