Had the pleasure of speaking with Tabitha today from Freedom Works about Tea Party issues. We discussed, among other things, how they’re looking at the current field of GOP contenders, Tea Party grassroots activities, BlogCon 2011, as well as the importance of winning the senate in 2012 and how their new Super PAC will help our goal of making the Senate a Tea Party entity. Enjoy!

    My Brethren,

as we find ourselves in this place of choosing a liberal who is pretending to be a republican for the POTUS, romney is completely liberal with romney care, perry is completely liberal with the vaccine for young girls and paying for illegal college/university education, bachman is romney’s stalking horse, cain not up to the POTUS, looking over the republican candidates i’m putting forth my strategy by asking you to consider newt for POTUS with continuing to peruse, encourage and elect Tea Party Activists to run for the senate and house.

    newt will:
    – in a debate turn obama into a fool
    – can articulate any situation or position so everyone understands
    – is a historian with understanding of America Her place and Position in the World
    – will follow thru with what is written and signed: 1994 Contract with America
    – will be kept on course by electing Tea Party Activists to the senate and house
    – do you believe romney or perry can beat obama in the election?
    – do you believe romney or perry will take up Tea Party ideology?

so with this if I may and as time is short, we need to quickly analyze and test newt to see can he be reasoned with in his positions by/for Tea Party? who will newt select as running mates and cabinet ministers? will newt make room for Tea Party thoughts and suggestions in thereof.
Tea Party’s strength and leverage Hinges on more Tea Party Activists being elected to the senate and house,

let us move forward and share each other comment’s, thoughts and analysis

Never thought I’d be saying this, but this makes sense, fast1! Let’s look at Newt. He scares me less than Romney, Perry, Cain and Bachmann do.

    • I agree, he is the most capable, and more conservative then Perry, Romney. I really wanted to like Cain, but he is way out of his league. At his age he should know a lot more then he does if he were to just watch the news once in a while. I could accept him as a VP. I hate GOP establishment with a passion, but Newt is the best of whats up there.

I think what you’re forgetting is that nearly as soon as Newt got into the race he endorsed the individual mandate for health care, and then backed away from it as soon as he was hit with the fierce backlash. He may seem principled in isolation, but those who have known his political history know that he has done this before. He’ll latch onto an idea that contradicts what he seemed so principled about earlier. He’s kind of like Perry in that way. Yes, he has a deep knowledge of history and how politics works. The unfortunate bottom line with Newt is that he’s undisciplined. I think he’d be great in some role in a Republican administration, but not as president.

So only extremely beautiful women get to host and/or guest on this show? There’s gonna be a lawsuit, I can see it happening! 🙂

Tabitha Hale, GREAT guest. Valuable insight for us. Freedom Works sounds like they take on the task of support for candidates as needed. By priority. What a refreshing way to work for a change.
