Our great thanks to those who paid the ultimate price on December 7, 1941 and to every troop called to action in the years that followed. That sneak attacked reminded our great nation that we can never hide from the beasts of the world, and it remains our duty to vanquish fascists who dare to think Americans will allow savagery and oppression to rule the world.

Could you imagine today’s generation fighting in a war like that? Thank you to all of our veterans.

Once more, believe it or not we still train ’em the same:)Tammy always shows enduring hope for the country and for this I will always be in her corner! Tammy is also tough and she expresses how we all feel frustrated. I, for one, am so glad that she keeps it real, unlike the most watered down speakers on platform today.

As always Tammy has been motivating me with her CLEAR, CRISP and distinct style. I love it.

(I gotta’ confess, I like the swear words every so often too as I do the same when I’m either training or feel passionate about what I’m doing). 😉

I did a 5 year hitch in the Navy starting in 1974. In ’75, I was stationed on the USS Morton (DD-948) in Pearl Harbor. The Morton was undergoing yard refit at the time. One of tasks assigned to crew members during refit was to shadow welding teams with a fire extinguisher and to put out any blazes accidentally started by the welding. This task fell to me in the middle of one night – the smell of smoke from arc-welding is unforgettable. One of the welders I shadowed was an older Hawaiian gent who worked in Pearl Harbor at the time of the attack in 1941. As he worked, I got to listen to him reminisce about working on the big battleships, and the aftermath of the attack. I could have listened to that dude for days. That night made me feel linked to history and is one of my best memories of my time in the service.

Great clips..ie…broadcasts Tammy. This is one of those days we should never forget. I worked with a Pearl vet many years ago…his telling and re-telling of that day always gripped those of us who worked with him. He retired in the early 1980s and passed away about 15 years ago. Not many of these guys left…..

I found this letter and posted it up on Facebook..a bold and in your face statement from a 95 year old Pearl Harbor vet..still alive and very well. Snopes has confirmed; the gentleman is real as is his letter……
