The latest from 8/14. Via Fox News. Note from Rove: All of the polls used for this map were conducted before Mr. Romney announced his decision to make Paul Ryan his running mate.

Momentum in the latest Electoral College map moved primarily in Mitt Romney’s direction this week. Arizona moved to “safe Romney” from its position at “lean Romney;” Colorado shifted from “lean Obama” to “toss up;” and Connecticut moved out of the “safe Obama” column to “lean Obama.” Georgia and Missouri moved just out of “safe Romney” zone to “lean Romney,” but this may not be an accurate representation of the situation in these two reliably Republican states, considering they have not been polled as frequently as many of the other states. Mr. Romney now has a total of 96 EC votes, and there are six states (86 EC votes) that “lean Romney.” Again, most “lean Romney” states, like Georgia and Missouri, have not been polled as often and are typically safe Republican states that will be in Mr. Romney’s column in November. Barack Obama has 172 EC votes and nine states (99 EC votes) that “lean Obama.” While Oregon and Connecticut are generally safe Democratic states, many other “lean Obama” states, such as Wisconsin and Ohio, are likely to join the seven (85 EC votes) “toss-ups” in the weeks ahead, especially now that there is a full Republican ticket for voters to consider. Note: All of the polls used for this map were conducted before Mr. Romney announced his decision to make Paul Ryan his running mate.

Texas is LEANING Romney? LEANING??? What? You have GOT to be kidding me!!! LOL!

If there was ever a perfect example of the lack of credibity of these two inside-the-beltway, talking head, know-it-all, overrated opinionated pissants, this is it. (Except for the Liberal Enclaves of Houston, San Antonio and Austin)

They’re a little behind in the news: Conservative Ted Cruz crushed RINO Dewhurst.
There were nearly 4 times as many Republican voters(total) in the runoff election as Democrats(total).

The vast majority of Texans despise El Presidente’ and that goes double for Holder.

I am ashamed to say I live in New York.
Though I’m an hour north of NYC, pretty much in the woods with squirrels and raccoons and lakes a plenty, my county
( Putnam) does vote RED,as do much of the northern NY counties…
but………..its a drag knowing my vote gets steamrolled by NYC JERKS every important Election.
Plus I gotta deal with Nanny Bloomberg and Schmuckey Schumer.

Karl Rove cares nothing about this country and even less about Mitt Romney. He wants a Romney loss in November so that his boy Jebber can get into the White House in 2016 and he can regain his former power behind the throne. Bottom line–I wouldn’t trust any of these figures and I wouldn’t trust Karl Rove with the time of day.

I think New Mexico is leaning Romney. They just elected Susana Martinez (R) as governor in 2010. She’s the first female governor they have ever elected. I have family in NM and they feel the state on the whole is leaning the the right after 3 1/2 years of Obama. Don’t believe the liberal media, Hispanics are not in the tank for the left.

And, being a Texas citizen myself I have to agree with dennis159. Texas is more than just leaning Romney.

Karly Rover will need to put Wisconsin in the ‘Toss Up’ Catagory.

Tommy Thompson(R) the former Governor and HHS Secretary won his Primary. This is to fill for the open seat of the Demorat jumping ship(retiring), Kohl(77 and in the Senate for 23 years!)(Good Riddance). Granted Thompson is More RINO, it’s still another chance at getting the US Senate into Republican Control(and put Harry in the Minority reading his Cowboy Poetry to himself). Add Walker(who, as you know) got more votes in the Recall Election than in the General and ‘Favorite Son’ Ryan…and there you go.
