by Tammy on November 16, 2012Great job Progs! Like parasites that feed and feed until they kill to host(ess). Pathetic and predictable, as well as a microcosmic view of what leftists and unions are trying to do to this country as a whole. Via NBC Dallas. Hostess, the makers of Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Wonder Bread, is going out of business after striking workers failed to heed a Thursday deadline to return to work, the company said. “We deeply regret the necessity of today’s decision, but we do not have the financial resources to weather an extended nationwide strike,” Hostess CEO Gregory F. Denny’s to Charge 5% ‘ObamaCare’ Surcharge, Cut Employees Hours To Cope with Law
by Tammy on November 15, 2012**Bumped Up from TAM Wire** A Post by TX Soldier As prices go up and Real after Double Tax Wages go down far fewer people will eat at Denny’s. Great, now more Wagon Riders and even fewer Wagon Pullers. At some point, the Pullers give up and sit down. Hard to tax people who have nothing left to tax. Note from Tammy: This sort of thing, in addition to inflation, is really going to impact things. This is the Obama legacy, a Scorched Earth policy that might not kill business but makes it even more difficult to keep it going. The impact on employees and customers, as with all regulations, will be massive. I understand businesses needing to do this...

High School Hockey Teams Told to Dump National Anthem
by Tammy on November 12, 2012Typical. It never ends, so we must never quit. Via Todd Starnes. Nearly 200 high school hockey teams in Pennsylvania have been advised to eliminate the national anthem because it takes too much time to perform and costs too much money. “We are recommending the national anthem not be played or sung or whatever it is,” Ed Sam, commissioner of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League told Fox News. “It has absolutely nothing to do with patriotism at all. That’s the furthest thing from the truth.” Schools were notified of the directive in an email from the PIHL. He said teams are only allotted a certain amount of time to play matches. Sam also said it had to do with economics....

Get the Message Out: Cathy McMorris Rodgers for House Republican Conference Chair!
by Tammy on November 12, 2012A post by RuBegonia Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers represents the state of Washington’s 5th Congressional District . In 2004 after serving 5 terms in the state legislature, she was elected to the U.S. Congress and recently won re-election by a comfortable margin. Last Thursday, Cathy put in her official bid to become Chair of the House Republican Conference (she currently holds the position of Vice Chair). This would place her in the chamber’s number 4 GOP leadership slot (behind the speaker, majority leader, and whip) and preserve her standing as one of the most influential women in “the other Washington”, i.e. DC. In an open letter to her colleagues, Cathy made this commitment: “We must continue to put forward a bold...
