This Week’s Column: “How ISIS Already Threatens America”
by Tammy on September 22, 2014Illustration on the dangers of domestic terrorism by Nancy Ohanian/Tribune Content Agency My Washington Times column for this week has posted. I hope you like it. Please Tweet, Facebook, Blog and spread the word! Thanks! Washington Times: How ISIS already threatens America: Terrorists have already commissioned U.S. evildoers to murder …Here’s the truth of the matter: The Islamic State does not need to be parachuting into Miami, New York, Toronto or Sydney, or even flying planes into buildings to be a threat to everyone’s homeland. The terrorist group’s continued success in the Middle East and its propaganda is meant to, and does, inspire sociopaths around the world. In fact, the Islamic State’s plans to enact terrorism here in the United...

Jihadist Murders College Student Brendan Tevlin in NJ, Calls It A “Just Kill”
by PopArt on September 19, 2014*Bumped up from TAM Wire. Posted by PopArt** Residents of New Jersey were shocked and saddened this summer by the senseless shooting of a bright young man just home from college. When the killers were caught, the ringleader openly and repeatedly proclaimed the murder of 19-year-old Brendan Tevlin a “just kill” in furtherance of Jihad but also freely admitted the killings of three gay men in Seattle for similar reasons. There are few reports about this disturbing new “motive” for senseless killing beyond the blogosphere. Via Rightly Wired: Katie Coyne — Brendan Tevlin, American Martyr, Murdered On U.S. Soil By Jihadist Killer His obituary reads like an award ceremony, except that all of the achievements were his. A young Irish...

Chuck Hagel Doesn’t Know
by Tammy on June 11, 2014Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel testified, of something, to congress today about the Bergdahl/Taliban transfer. Bottom line? Hagel doesn’t know (anything), and “can’t answer a question that you can’t give me the question to.” Secretary. Of. Defense. Via Free Beacon.

Latest on Bergdahl Swap For Terrorists, Open Thread
by Tammy on June 2, 2014Well, the last 48 hours or so have been busy, and exposed us to another bizarre choice by Barack Obama: without notifying congress he released 5 of the most dangerous Taliban we had captured; beasts considered so dangerous they were to never be released. Yet, on Saturday morning they were flown out of Gitmo and into Qatar, as one of the pre-conditions for the Taliban terrorists to release Bowe Bergdahl, a troop captured in Afghanistan in 2009. We all wanted Bergdahl released, but the details of the method concerns everyone. Here’s what we know so far, and it gets stranger and stranger as each hour goes by. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s recovery after five years in captivity has rekindled anger...

Why Did Obama Tell Netanyahu To Stop Killing Iranian Nuclear Scientists?
by Shifra on March 21, 2014In a recent post, Maynard asked, “Whose side is Obama on?” And now, with Obama telling Israel that they have got to stop killing Iranian nuclear scientists, the question is even more relevant. Via Israel National News: Report: US Pressures Israel, ‘Stop Killing Iranian Scientists’ President Barack Obama will not only pressure Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to accept the US framework for peace – but also to stop intervening in preventing a nuclear Iran…. CBS radio broadcaster Dan Raviv told listeners…that Obama will urge Netanyahu…for Israel to stop “assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists,” according to the daily. Raviv allegedly made the discovery while researching an upcoming book, and noted that Israeli intelligence agencies have been under immense pressure from the Obama...

Russian-Made Engines for US Rockets Under Review
by Pat_S on March 12, 2014The Russian-made RD-180 rocket engine is a core element of the Atlas V launch vehicle. Atlas V rockets are used to launch military and spy satellites into space. The RD-180 engines are built in Russia by NPO Energomash and provided to United Launch Alliance (ULA), a joint venture between Boeing and Lockheed Martin. ULA has a monopoly on the Atlas V national security launches. When the joint venture was formed in 2005, Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) challenged the arrangement on anti-trust grounds but lost. Now, the Air Force is initiating a wide-ranging review of its launch plans for 2017 and beyond. SpaceX is again seeking the opportunity to compete with ULA. As part of the Air Force review, the...

Obama Offers Asylum To “Low Level” Muslim Terrorists, But Not To Christians Fleeing Persecution
by Shifra on March 3, 2014With all the scandals, constitutional violations, malevolence and gross incompetence of the past five years, there has got to be a tipping point when we rise up and say to the Obama Regime, “Enough!” Via Investor’s Business Daily: Obama’s new asylum decree favors Muslims over Christians As President Obama offers asylum to “minor” terrorists providing “limited” material support to terrorism, he’s slamming shut the door on thousands of Christians fleeing terrorism in Muslim lands like Egypt. In another end-run around Congress, President Obama has unilaterally eased immigration requirements for foreigners linked to terrorism. He ordered the State Department and Homeland Security to ignore a post-9/11 law barring entry to those giving political or charitable aid to Hamas and other known...

Lone Survivor: Best War-Film Opening Since 9/11
by Tammy on January 13, 2014“Lone Survivor” Trailer This now has the best war film opening since 9/11. I plan in seeing this, do you? In the meantime, making some news is an exchange between Jake Tapper and former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell which does not go well for Tapper. Some say Tapper was just expressing what many think about Afghanistan, that it was all for nothing. Do you agree? As Obama throws away our victories in Afghanistan and Iraq, I can see how that attitude would emerge, but it’s only all “in vain” if we let it become so for the overall picture, to say nothing of the fact “They didn’t die for nothing .. they died fighting the A-HOLES who killed 3000+ on...

“We’re here to kill Americans”: Witness on Benghazi attack
by Tammy on October 24, 2013Lara Logan of “60 Minutes” has a segment on Sunday’s program featuring a security officer who witnessed the attack on Benghazi. I’m sure the Obama/Hillary gang are not happy about that. Here’s a preview. Very rarely will I suggest you watch or DVR “60 Minutes,” but this is one of those times. We’re hearing for the first time from a security officer who witnessed the terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, last year. U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the attack on the mission and a nearby annex. In an interview for “60 Minutes,” correspondent Lara Logan spoke with a British citizen, who had been hired to train the Libyan guards...

WSJ Taranto’s Overview of How the Anti-Gun Nuts Are Reacting to the Navy Yard Shooting
by Maynard on September 19, 2013**A Post by Maynard** The article gives you a sense of the drift. Seems the gun grabbers are tired and resigned. I’ll highlight a couple of details: 1) About the gun-grabbing hypocrite Dianne Feinstein (the only person ever to get a concealed carry permit in San Francisco): The Daily Caller reports that Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, who wasted no time in trying to revive the antigun effort Monday, is reduced to complaining about pestiferous citizens: “I’m going to have my hair done this morning and there’s somebody outside the salon waiting for me who says, ‘Are you going to try and take our guns away again?’ With, you know, malevolence. It’s that attitude, that, the lack of, I guess,...

Who’ll Take The High Road?
by Pat_S on June 16, 2013Dick Cheney defended the NSA collection of phone records on Fox Sunday News. He said we need all our military capabilities to prevent another terrorist attack which could very well be a deadly weapons attack such as a nuclear device or biological agent. He pointed out that all the NSA is doing is collecting a bag of phone numbers which are nothing more than common business records. He then goes on to say that divulging this program reveals crucial information to our adversaries. Are you kidding me? Even ignorant low-level drug dealers know enough to use burner phones. If you don’t watch the news you’d know phone records are routinely searched just by watching any episode of Law & Order....

Presenting ==> The Obama Doctrine
by Shifra on June 12, 2013It was all so confusing, in the beginning of the Obama Regime. I mean, what exactly was O’s Foreign Policy? First, it looked like the “Give-Back-Your-Friends’-Gifts” Doctrine (Remember the Churchill Bust?) Then came The-Apology-Tour Doctrine. Followed by the “Bow-Really-Low-to-Foreign-Heads-of- State-Especially-If-They-Hate-Us” Doctrine. Then, the “What-Me-Worry?” Doctrine. (Remember Neda, who bled to death in the streets of Teheran, as the Iranian protesters begged for Obama’s support?) This was followed by the “Hey-Let’s-Back-The-Wrong-Guys-To-Ensure-That-The-Muslim-Brotherhood-Throws–The-Entire-Middle-East-Into-Chaos” Doctrine. So many shifts, so many different stances. And now, we have two more versions of The Obama Doctrine: via National Review Online — Charles Krauthammer: Obama’s Dorothy Doctrine “This war, like all wars, must end. That’s what history advises . . .” — Barack Obama, May 23 Nice thought. But much as...

The Senate Censors: Feinstein Ends Her Inquisition of Kathryn Bigelow and “Zero Dark Thirty”
by Shifra on March 4, 2013**A Post by Shifra** Well, now that Kathryn Bigelow has been “punished” by the Hollywood Liberals – no Oscar nominations for her or for her film Zero Dark Thirty, and only one award (shared) for “sound editing,” Sen. Dianne Feinstein has called off the Inquisition, er, the investigation into the film, one day after the Academy Awards. Via WSJ. If Hollywood ever makes a film about the “Zero Dark Thirty” affair, it may stretch the credulity of audiences with even the lowest expectations of Washington. As no one should forget, Senators Dianne Feinstein, Carl Levin and John McCain wrote letters to Sony Pictures and the CIA charging that “Zero Dark Thirty” was a “grossly inaccurate and misleading” portrayal of the...

Walmart Sets Limits On Ammunition Sales Due To Limited Supplies
by Tammy on January 30, 2013Not surprised folks. Buy what you can when you can. Via Reuters, HT to TheRightNewz. Walmart has started to limit sales of ammunition to three boxes per customer per day due to limited supplies, a spokeswoman said on Wednesday. Sales of guns and ammunition have risen across the United States since the December 14 shooting at a Newtown, Connecticut elementary school. Walmart U.S., is the largest unit of Wal-Mart Stores Inc the world’s largest retailer and the largest U.S. gun seller. The Bentonville, Arkansas-based retailer had said that it works to strike the right balance between serving hunters and sportsmen and ensuring that it sells firearms responsibly. “In order to take care of as many customers as possible, starting Thursday,...
