Update: Paris Terror Attacks ~~ Open Thread
by Tammy on November 14, 2015It was a horrible night for the free world, for the Western world. And yet, it was inevitable with so-called leadership refusing to recognize the monster of Radical Islam. Even to this day, after the worst terror attack in France’s history, many in media and our own government still refuse to call it by name. I’ll update you with this post and please add your own updates, links and comments. I will be doing a public podcast today with more updates and commentary on the attack, where things stand and what we can expect. I’ll be on Fox News at 445p ET to discuss the latest from Paris and how it affects us here. Pray for everyone who faces the...

FBI Arrests 6 Passengers For “Interference with Flight Crew”
by Tammy on September 3, 2015It is the first week of September as we approach the 14th anniversary of 9/11. Was this a test or just a bunch of disgusting bullies with bad timing? Via Dallas Morning News. FBI special agent T. Scott Hendricks has filed an affidavit explaining why Southwest Airlines diverted a San Diego-Chicago flight to Amarillo late Monday and booted six passengers off the flight. The six, said to be members of a San Diego area soccer team, were subsequently arrested and charged with “interference with a flight crew and abetting.” Basically, according to Hendricks per Southwest, the passengers -Khalid Yohana, 19; Wasim Imad Shaker, 23; Essa Solaqa, 20; Ghazwan Assad Shaba, 21; Jonathan Khalid Petras, 20; and Saiman Hermez, 19- were...

Marcy Borders, Iconic 9/11 ‘Dust Lady,’ Dies Of Cancer
by Shifra on August 26, 2015Her picture really captured the horror and confusion of that day. Marcy was only 42, and she believed that her stomach cancer was caused by inhaling toxic dust. RIP, Marcy. Via Guardian: It was one of the most haunting images that emerged after 9/11: a woman covered in ash and powdered concrete fleeing the World Trade Center after the first plane struck the tower and brought horror to the heart of New York. Marcy Borders was a 28-year-old Bank of America worker when the photograph of her staring into the lens with her eyes asquint and her mouth agape was taken. Borders, who came to be known around the world as “dust lady”, died on Monday at the age of...

U.S. Negotiator To Senate: We Will Keep ‘Side Deals’ Secret, For ‘National Security’
by Shifra on August 6, 2015Shorter Wendy Sherman to Senate: It’s none of your business! Via CNS News: It is both “appropriate” and in the U.S. national security interest for side agreements between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to remain secret, the State Department’s top nuclear negotiator told senators on Wednesday. Undersecretary of state Wendy Sherman tussled with Senator David Vitter (R-La.) during a Senate Banking Committee hearing on Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as he asked her repeatedly if she thought it appropriate that she – who does not get to vote on the deal – has seen the side agreements, while lawmakers who do get to vote will not…. She did not explain why she had herself been able...

Treasury Secretary: Don’t Worry, Most Of Money We Give Iran Won’t Fund Terror
by Shifra on May 5, 2015Whew, what a relief! Looks like we really dodged a bullet with this Iran “peace deal” thing. So, not to worry: We give Iran $50B as a “signing bonus,” they only use a “little bit” of the money to sponsor terrorism around the world. Via IJ Review: Obama Cabinet Official: ‘Most’ of the Relief Money to Iran Won’t Fund Terrorism Treasury Secretary Jack Lew acknowledged that large sums of money will be given to Iran as part of the sanctions relief, adding that “most” of it won’t directly fund terrorist operations in the Middle East…. During Lew’s remarks, he said that Iran will be under “enormous pressure” to improve its domestic economy, adding that funding terrorism is a “relatively small”...

Stephen Hayes: Did US Intel Just Drop Iran/Hezbollah From Terror List?
by Shifra on March 16, 2015Pic via Independent Sentinel So, in the Alternate Universe of the Obama Regime, Iran is no longer the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world? Did US intelligence just remove Iran and Hezbollah from its worldwide threats terror list? If true, jaw-dropping. http://t.co/GbFoNhg3Ex — Stephen Hayes (@stephenfhayes) March 16, 2015 Via Weekly Standard: Ahead of Deal, Top Intel Organization Plays Down Iran’s Sponsorship of Terrorism Sunday night, Stephen Hayes noted (via Twitter) a Times of Israel article that the 2015 Worldwide Threat Assessment of the U.S. Intelligence Communities delivered annually by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to a Senate committee had “removed Iran and Hezbollah from its list of terrorism threats” after having been included in prior years. Flashback==> Obama Brags He Ended War In Iraq, Then Dodges Responsibility
by Shifra on February 16, 2015Today is Presidents’ Day. George Washington: “First in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen.” Barack Hussein Obama: He lied to the American people. All the time. Via Free Beacon: Bombs Over Erbil It was an applause line during almost every campaign address made by President Obama in 2012: “I promised to end the war in Iraq, and I did.” Now, he’s backing off. President Obama ordered a full troop withdrawal from Iraq, which was completed in December 2011. But the country did not stabilize, as was predicted by Obama and key members of his administration. Instead, it has descended into greater chaos with the violent al Qaeda offshoot ISIL threatening to take over the...

by Shifra on February 5, 2015We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender. – Winston Churchill, June 4, 1940 Jordan’s King Abdullah angrily vowed to pursue ISIS until his military runs “out of fuel and bullets.” – February 3, 2015 Via CNS News: Pentagon Spokesman: No ‘Tit for Tat’ After Barbaric Murder of Jordanian Pilot ….But don’t expect the United States to do anything different in response to the terrorists’ latest brutal act. “It’s not tit for tat,” a Pentagon spokesman said on Tuesday. “I can only speak for the...

John Kerry vs. Israel: Round #2999
by Shifra on October 29, 2014“Kudos” to Kerry for following through on the Obama Regime’s foreign policy: Treat your enemies with respect, and treat your friends like dirt. Just about every time Kerry opens his mouth, he infuriates the Israelis. Here are some Kerry “gems:” Last year, he went on Israeli TV’s Channel 2, and, in a threatening tone, warned of “chaos” and “another intifada” if the Israeli-“Palestinian” peace talks failed. He also warned that Israel “risked becoming an apartheid state” if peace talks failed. During the Israel-Gaza conflict last summer, Kerry was caught on a hot mic, snickering about Israel’s “pinpoint operation.” And, two weeks ago, Kerry appeared to imply that the lack of progress in the Israeli-“Palestinian” peace talks was fueling the...

Newest Ebola Patient Flew Frontier Airlines Day Before Diagnosis
by Tammy on October 15, 2014And the clusterfark continues. This second confirmed infection is a person from the team that treated Duncan in Texas. She flew from Cleveland to Dallas the day before presenting at the hospital with a fever. Ebola has been confirmed. The CDC is now scrambling to reach the 132 other people on the flight. Instapundit has a resonable suggestion about this debacle: Just a reminder, neither this infection or the infection of Nina Pham had to happen. They are a direct result of the refusal of this administration to isolate infected countries. And yet they continue to argue that stopping flights from West Africa, or simply stopping anyone who has been in those countries, from entering somehow wouldn’t make a difference....

Dallas Ebola Patient Dies, Hospital Confirms
by Tammy on October 8, 2014The first Ebola death on our soil. Not a surprise. Our missionary workers survived likely due to the special Zmapp serum, which is now all gone. This is a virus which has an 80% mortality rate. Those who survive naturally are lucky. More of the Zmapp drug will not be available until next year. In the meantime, Obama has announced temperature screenings at five US airports: JFK, Dulles Atlanta, Newark, and O’Hare in Chicago. Only JFK starts this week. The rest, next week. Not that anything could happen in 7 more days. Via Fox News. The Liberian man diagnosed with Ebola last month just days after arriving in Texas has died following nearly two weeks in a Dallas hospital’s isolation...

United Notifying Passengers on Dallas Ebola Patient’s Flights
by Tammy on October 2, 2014It’s about time, and good for them. Seems as though the airline isn’t buying the CDC line that it’s impossible for anyone on those flights to have been exposed/infected. They’ve also released the flight numbers involved in the infected man’s journey to Dallas. Via NBC. United Airlines, which flew Ebola victim Thomas Eric Duncan on two of the three flights that brought him to the U.S. last month, is trying to notify as many as 400 people who may have been on Duncan’s flights, referring them to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the airline told NBC News on Thursday. United said it doesn’t believe any fellows passengers are at risk but that it was taking the move...

Secret Service/ Ebola/ ISIS Catastrophe Palooza Open Thread
by Tammy on October 1, 2014Here’s the latest on all the crap from today, courtesy of a collapsing, disgustingly bloated federal government headed by clueless, moronic bureaucrats, many of whom would rather be golfing. Secret Service director resigns after security failures Secret Service Director Julia Pierson resigned Wednesday, after a security breach at the White House and other high-profile incidents raised widespread concerns about the safety of the president and his family. Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson announced the resignation in a written statement, and the White House confirmed her decision shortly afterward. President Obama “concluded new leadership of that agency was required,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said. I’d say we need ‘new leadeship’ everywhere. 5 kids had contact with Liberian Dallas...

by Shifra on September 29, 2014Ah, who could forget the “heartwarming” moment at the 2012 Democrat National Convention, when God and Jerusalem were booed? Well, the person responsible for the removal of “Jerusalem” from the DNC platform has just been named Biden’s new national security adviser. Not. Kidding… Via Free Beacon: Alana Goodman — Aide Who Removed ‘Jerusalem’ From DNC Platform to Advise Biden on National Security ….Colin Kahl, a former Georgetown University professor and adviser to President Obama’s reelection campaign, was reportedly responsible for removing pro-Israel language from the Democratic Party’s 2012 platform, including the recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital….
