Eminent Domain & Sovereignty

The old private Ambassador bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor Ontario needs to be replaced. The bridge's owner says they want to build a replacement but can't get the permits. The permitting governments want to build a public bridge estimated to cost $3.5 billion. Typically, gov'ts share costs for these things, but not the U.S. under Obama. Canada will pay for the entire bridge's cost and the U.S. is supposed to pay for its customs station on our side of the bridge. Except Obama has now told Canada, we're not going to pay for our own customs building on our soil, Canada pay for it. DC judge hearing the private bridge owner's lawsuit against public bridge asked how can Michigan claim land and homes under eminent domain, if a foreign country is paying for the public use. This is more disgusting financial shenanigans under Obama, but I think the judge hit on the larger issue. Obama won't pay for our own customs station, because he wants this as a test case that foreign governments money can use U.S. eminent domain.

Off-topic; the author of, The Death of Right and Wrong, may find this George Orwell quote from 1944 to be of interest.

“Collectivism,” he warned in a 1944 book review, “leads to concentration camps, leader worship and war.” More important, perhaps, he admitted that this might always be so, suggesting that “there is no way out of this unless a planned economy can somehow be combined with the freedom of the intellect, which can only happen if the concept of right and wrong is restored to politics.”

My gosh, is this jackass trying to now ruin our relationship with CANADA?? Is there anything he won’t destroy?

To answer your question Issac, yes he is. There is nothing he won’t destroy, and he destroys everything he touches. You’ve heard of the Midas touch, well, this cretin has the Offal touch, everything he touches turns to crap. He is the king of shiet; have you ever noticed flies always seem to hover around him? They know crap when they smell/sense him. He is king of the dung heap, full of hate and malevolence for everything and everyone. Is it any wonder why we are going down the toilet of history. 🙁
