During the past decade Vietnam veterans have ensured history was not repeated. Just like Vietnam those who opposed the Iraq War attempted to demonize, as large scale combat operations were being conducted, all service members for the misdeeds of a few. The injustice of inflicting wrath on military service members, duty bound to wage war when directed; in support of a political agenda was wrong then and now. I am grateful to the Vietnam veterans for saving our current generation of soldiers from the injustice and painful experiences they endured.
