Jazz legend Dave Brubeck dies at 91

Dave Brubeck, the pianist and composer whose use of polyrhythms, complex harmonies and classical forms propelled a six-decade career that made him one of the world's most popular jazz artists, died Wednesday. He was 91.

    I just heard on WQXR, the only classical music radio station left in NYC. Brubeck was classically trained as well as being a jazz great, and composed many classical pieces. Today (Thursday) would have been his 92nd birthday.
