Consider this your Christmas change up. Five years ago at my mom' s 88th birthday party, we were using a newly purchased Nikon camera. We were cutting up and took pictures of ourselves. Well, the camera actually gave us an error message. It asked, ” Did some one blink?” The kids and I howled and laughed and took pictures of the message. Irony! Silly Japanese camera, no one blinked, we're just smiling Asians.
Fast forward to today. Airport security facial recognition technology rejected an Asian face because it thought his eyes were closed. Happy traveling to me and my Asian peeps.
Bonus humorous trigger warning. Try to say this title with a fake Asian accent after cocktails. It's not easy!
