    Not only has it been ignored but it’s not even new. The first EMP events were recognized after the high-altitude events of Operations Hardtack and Dominic 1 in 1958. You might remember the shock that the military had in the 1970’s (?) when Soviet jets were found to be immune to EMP because the jets still had large quantities of vacuum tube electronics.
