On the other side of Missouri from Ferguson, the KC Royals and the people hosted the Royals no. 1 fan from Korea. Oh and by coincidence (?), the Royals are in first place in their division for the first time in a long time.

Unrelated. Actress Kelly Rutherford just lost custody of her American children to her former husband in France. Reason: He lied on a visa application and is now barred from entering the U.S., therefore, a California judge awarded him custody of the children because he can’t come here. I don’t know anything about Ms. Rutherford, but given the information supplied, she’s right in saying that he lied so I lose my children. Baseball’s First Place teams this year are the little guys except for the LA Dodgers (and the Dodgers have had issues in the last few years).
Currently in First Place are: Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals, Oakland Athletics, Milwaukee Brewers, Washington Nationals (in baseball, Washington is a little guy), and the LA Dodgers.
Washington & Baltimore fans are hoping for a Beltway series. That would be nice, but a Blues series would also be nice (Dodgers vs Royals). There’s a ways to go in the regular season yet, September isn’t even here, but baseball always gets a little more interesting as the season winds down.
