UPDATE at Fox News:

Keenan’s sister, Linda, said the former anchor died of a massive cerebral hemorrhage and had received treatment at New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital.

“It is with tremendous sorrow that we report the passing, due to a massive cerebral hemorrhage, of a wonderful mother, wife, sister, and pioneering financial journalist,” the statement read. “Terry was a trailblazer who credited much of her success to her beloved mother’s emphasis on education, which led her to Holy Names Academy in Albany, NY, and a math scholarship to Johns Hopkins University.”

So sorry for the Keenan family. As an RN in the hospital setting, I’ve seen the statistics, 33% survive,33% die and 33% are disabled as a stroke victim. My best friend suffered a cerebral aneurysm and lived, however she was left with kidney problems, needing dialysis & open heart surgery & partial blindness.
Her friends loved the fact that she was spared but when she died 6 years later I felt it would have been more merciful had she not.

I remember her from Red Eye. She had a delightful sense of humor.
