Barnum College Free For All

Obama is now going to proactively pursue student loan forgiveness for those 'permanently disabled'. Up to now, a permanently disabled person had to apply for loan forgiveness but few did that. So now, Obama is going to Social Security records to identify those that claim permanent disability and notify them that they can have student loans forgiven, no proof of disability needed. P.T. Barnum proclaimed that Jumbo was the world's largest elephant. Obama is the world's largest fraudulent. Every minute.

That 7.7 billion noted is just a drop in the bucket compared to Obozo’s vacations and all his other freebies on our dime.

In unrelated news; Re raising the min. wage in Wash. DC, the Mayor is proposing increasing the wage for tipped restaurant workers to $7.50/hr by 2022, the min. wage is to go to $15/hr by 2020. Current tipped worker wage is $2.77/hr, current min. wage is $10.50/hr. Restaurants are complaining, saying the Mayor doesn’t understand that she’ll be hurting the workers because there will be layoffs and closures. Well yes, and that’s what will happen to the businesses that don’t have tipped workers. I don’t care for DC Mayor Bowser but she’s right here. I’d go even further and have tipped workers subject to the same min wage as non-tipped workers. Restaurants argue that tipped workers earn more than min. wage counting tips. But that’s not the reason for the reduced min. wage. The reason is not to ensure that tipped workers earn the min. wage, the reason was to increase likelihood that off the books tips would be captured for tax purposes. With the higher min. wage, the exception is creating a discriminatory impact between tipped worker businesses and non-tipped worker businesses. Do away with the exception.
