Horowitz laments the long history of “nice” Republicans who have been called every filthy name in the book by Democrats who are responsible for the exact evil that they accuse Republicans of committing. It is Democrats who have controlled the bastions of human misery, rubbing salt in the wounds of their victims while Republicans stood politely on the sidelines, figuring they could do nothing and they wouldn't get any votes from these people anyway. Now the Trump team is bringing the battle to the true scoundrels, and in so doing — such as with school vouchers — threatening to breathe life into our dying cities and give the victims of Democrats palpable cause to reconsider their political allegiance. (And by the way, this is why the Democrats are so terrified of Trump: They're afraid people will wake up and the Democrat monopoly will crumble.)
