Knowing Tammy thinks highly of David Mamet, I didn't want her to miss this article during her travels

For those that haven’t read his book, “Secret Knowledge”, we recommend it.

I am a big fan of David Mamet, *but* he did not explain the meaning of “Chelm” (Does Mamet think *everyone* is Jewish?
)
Chelm is the name of a mythical town, and many humorous stories in Jewish literature were written about the “wise people” of Chelm — who were really a bunch of fools. So the term “Chelm” immediately conjures up an image of leaders who think they are wise, but are really, um, like stupid Libs.

I once asked the Rabbi of Chelm why Jews weren’t allowed to eat pork. He answered, “We’re not? Oh, no!”
LOL! Perfect
Before I became a TAM,I passed through Chelm and turned right.
LOL! There is actually a town called “Chelmsford” in Massachusettes that we pass by whenever we go to New Hampshire. Always makes me laugh
