EU just passed a law (that needs to be confirmed by member states) that companies shall disclose in their annual reports, how it is a good corporate citizen, ie, environmental practices, social practices, corruption, bribery, human rights, etc. Besides asking someone or some company to self-report on how corrupt he/she/they are, here's the political lawless part; “What this looks like in practice has yet to be hammered out and could vary. The rules do not prescribe the information to be given.”
Great rules. Just like parents saying to their children, be back by curfew. Ok mom, what time is curfew. I don't know.
